Also, like other reviewers, I quickly noticed that there were hairline cracks on one or more of the corners of the case.I wanted the Speck because of the clear nature and texture of the shell--opting for it over the InCase Dot shells. I haven't had the same issue with the InCase shell. I guess I just should got one of those first.

My macbook stays on my desk and the corners started to crack by themselves. If you carry your laptop arond with you it will probably crack the first day.

I am just now writing a review and acknowledging this terrible product...! It was a gift to my gf and apparently it had snapped while putting the cover! What a joke, it is very hard to put on and take off as well as the material is very poor
