I purchased this for my 2017 Mac Pro in store, STL

I bought this for my late 2016 13". I can't give it 5 stars like previous models for my earlier Mac laptops, because the bottom cover at the hinge corners are a bit loose and didn't snap into place like the earlier models. This might be because the new laptop is so thin and there isn't much clearance for the case to snap those corners.

I really like this case, was between this and the InCase version of the same cover. This one is nice and does the trick, only thing I would change is that there's a gap/space between the computer and the case and so dust and particles can get in. Not a huge deal - just need to remove and wipe down more often than I'd like to.

The case exactly fits with MacBook Pro with clear case.

Great hard shell case. The reason I gave it 4 stars was the case doesn't fit when you use the required hyperdrive. So, it means either taking the shell off when using the the hyperdrive or detaching the hyperdrive and putting my MacBook back in the shell. I wish the salesperson had told me that.

Worked as expected- no problems fitting on the device

I use my laptop in my lap a lot, as I am a student always running around, and when ever my laptop (with this case on) isn't on a flat hard surface, the bottom part of the case has a gap in the center part that bugs me - but not to the point of me taking it off. Other than that, great colors and discrete clipping mechanism!

You should buy it is so amazing I love it so much!

Great case that fits perfectly on my new MacBook Pro

My daughter has always preferred the Speck Smartshell hardcase for her MacBooks, and the one for the newer (2017) 13" MacBook fits great and, since it's clear, you can't really tell it's on there so your MacBook looks like it's sexy self. Great for keeping scratches off of your device that are impossible to prevent!

I had a Speck laptop cover for my old computer, so it was a no-brainer for me to purchase this one for my new MacBook Pro. The only downside is that the case is a foggy clear, so it doesn't show off the color of my laptop as I would have liked. But it is definitely a good protectant shell.

It is my first time to have a macbook and it kinda scares me at first because most people say it is sensitive and I may want to use some protective covers. I have searched different brands and I found this one which I thought it looks simple but then it works perfect for my new laptop.

The best parts of this perfect were taking advantage of the price match at another retailer, trading in my older mac air, and using my rewards certificates. I was able to upgrade at a great price. This laptop runs so fast and the touch bar is such a cool feature.

I always purchase a case when I buy a MacBook to protect my investment from scratches, and to protect it from rubbing when putting it in my backpack. I really like this one, because its see through which lets me put what I wish in the case to be displayed.

One of the clips that holds the top clam shell cover is located above the USB-C inputs and interferes with plugging into the ports when notebook is closed On my 2017 MacBook Pro 13" if they fixed this I would go 5 + Stars

This shell is sturdy. It picks up dirt and marks easily.

I recently purchased a used MacBook Air that included a Speck cover. I was impressed with the quality of the case and the way the laptop had been protected. I tried a new case for my MacBook Pro and I have been very happy with the results.
