As a previous owner of multiple Speck MacBook and MacBook Pro covers, when I purchased my newest 2017 15” MacBook Pro, the choice was simple... or so it seemed. Let me start by saying that previous generations of Speck protective cases were exactly what I was looking for. They fit well, felt like they were made from quality materials, and did not interfere with my day to day use of the computer. This case, however, feels cheap- the plastic feels brittle, and it has rough edges both surrounding the screen and the keyboard. The case does not seem to have an even thickness to the edges. As I said, it fits the machine poorly. The top of the case leaves a void space of approximately 1/4” on the back side of the screen, and when the case is pressed at this void, the left or right edge actually separates from the side of the screen. Because of these issues, I don’t even use the case, and I plan to return it as soon as I find another hard shell case that fits better.

It's a cheap plastic case, I just wanted something to protect my computer from Scratches. It feels flimsy while it's on there. I'll probably replace it with something better.

I really like the style this case brings to my laptop. It is super slick with a tight fit that still makes the laptop look really thin. On top of that, the durability of the case makes me feel that the laptop is secure.

Great cover for apple laptop to protect computer from damage

This case was not as tight as I was expecting it to be, therefore I returned it. The finish was nice, but each time I would pick up my laptop, there would be play in the case and that is not how I like my electronics to be protected.

After reading all the reviews about the case being slippery, I still bought it for my son because there was no other case out there yet for the MacBook Pro with touch bar and also I thought that it's probably not as bad as people were saying. Sure enough my son almost dropped his laptop on the ground. It slipped right out of his hands when he picked it up from the table. Luckily he grabbed it. Also, the case did not fit right. It does not snap tight on there. I ended up returning it.

I bought this for my daughter to protect her computer. The hard shell case is very durable and I would recommend getting this to anyone to protect their computer. Good product.

When my previous laptop fell down, it was saved by the similar hardshell cover. Laptop was able to sustain without damage. I strongly suggest to buy this to protect your Mac.

this did not fit my laptop and i had to return it. i dont recommend ordering online as it can be confusing to find your model and year which is not shown on the laptop physically.

Light cover provides good grip the bad thing about the cover is it doesn’t allow the attachment to fit. It leaves a gap and you have to remove the bottom cover

Bought this protector for an Mac Air, which is difficult to find a fit for. Works ok, gives a little protection but not a lot. Best I could find, online or in the store.

Apple is most expensive toys in the world if change yearly. Great to own...but if you always got to have the best, protect it. Always keep it covered.

Does the job and it looks nice. My only complaint is that it is kinda slippery. Fixed that by adding a strip of grip tape from my skateboard.

I had originally purchased a different cover but found this one the next day after looking on line and searching the store. I liked the matte black finish better than the original purchased.

This case does what it is meant to, in that it keeps scratches and smudges off my laptop. Unfortunately, the case itself shows smudges and scratches easily.

Good product! Just wish there were more colors to choose from but my computer is so new it will be a time hopeful when i can change colors
