I was looking for a protective cover that held the Apple Pencil as well. I was always misplacing it and it was coming apart in my computer case. Many covers have little elastic bands to hold the pencil. I was certain I'd lose it. Other cases are thick and bulky (like the one I replaced). This one is sleek, fits nice in my hand, sets up several ways for viewing or for presentations and ... the pencil is always firmly in the case. It has auto shut off when you close the case and latches shut too! Perfect solution! Thank you!

I love this case. It has a spot inside to keep the Apple Pencil. It also has a clip latch to keep it closed.

This case is light, slim and can be adjusted to different angles. The threads on the seams are tight, and it has a soft interior that rests right on the screen.

Got this to protect my iPad. It's a good case but it's tough to access the volume buttons on the side. That's why I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5. I can get around it by going to settings but it would have been better if I could have used the volume buttons on the device. It was also reasonably priced.

I took a chance on this and bought it, It has a holder for the pencil and I needed that so I wouldnt lose it. It doesnt have keyboard provision but I dont care as Its extra weight, I bought the Ipad pro 9.7 for portability and not doing essays on it. It shuts off the Ipad immediately when I close the lid. It does a good job protecting the unit. I can open it up and the stand allows me to eat lunch and swipe the screen when I read flipboard news.. So far I havent located a better case that suits my needs.. It folds back out of the way for one hand operation so you can take pictures too..

This is a great case for the Ipad pro and not that expensive. Easy to slip in and out has a place for the pencil easy to stand for facetime etc.

I was looking for a hard case that would also carry the Apple Pencil. This case fit the bill. It's very sturdy, which is great. Also nice that the iPad turns on when you open the case. The snap closure is nice for security. Some nit-picking: 1) The Pencil can fall out of the holder, though not easily. I always check to be sure I have the Pencil. 2) To get the pencil out of the holder, you have to pull up on the tip, which seems to me not a good idea because the tip will get dirty over time from your finger and it does put a little stress on the tip each time. 3) The surface that touches the screen doesn't clean the screen, as it does in other cases. 4) You can't turn the iPad to a vertical position as you can with other cases, which I miss (if one of those other cases had a Pencil holder, I likely would have purchased it instead of this one). 5) It slips rather easily out of the upright stand position. 6) It's really hard to remove it from the case, which might be a good thing, but when I read in bed I'd like to shed the extra weight of the case and it's just too difficult to get it out to bother -- so you lose the advantage of the lightweightiness of the iPad for reading.

Was skeptical about buying a non-Apple cover for my iPad as I had never purchased a 3rd party Apple product before for any of my iPads. This is a really good product. This has a very high quality feeling and is easy to use at many different angles as a stand. Also has a nifty holder for your Apple pencil. Does make your iPad feel a little heavy, especially if you are used to using it without any cover at all, but that heaviness makes it feel safe and protected.

This IPad case is very well made and provides great protection for your IPad. Only con is it is more bulky than my old case but the extra size is because of the room to store a stylus which is a nice feature.

Needed a case for the Daughters iPad Pro, this was one of the only ones to hold the pencil in it. Its durable, keeps it protected from her 4yo brother, and doubles as a stand for her artwork. If I had my own iPad Pro, I'd buy this case again.

This is a good looking, well made and solid case for my ipad pro and stylus. Good fit and finish...the only problem I have is that it is difficult to close the clasp and lock it down to protect the screen. It works after some difficulty and once locked down it good to go.

Fits well and iPad easily stands at an angle. Comfortable to hold too. Not bulky. The other ones are either too hard or bulky.

Very happy with this protective case for my iPad.. sturdy and compact, easy to use.. was very reasonable on costs for the money.

This case protects my iPad Pro nicely, and I like the fact that it has a slot for the pencil. However, the way this case folds around the iPad Pro takes a little getting used to. At first I kept folding it so that the pencil holder slot was on top, but it's designed to be folded with the pencil holder slot on the bottom. It took me some time to get used to this, but now that I am, I guess it's better in a way since it gives a bit more elevation to the iPad when it's in a standing position.

Best protective case out there for price. It is easy to grip. Makes a nice stand and the pen holder is very handy. It is also surprisingly sturdy.

After looking at several cases at the Best Buy store, I decided to purchase the Speck protective case. First of all it comes with a one year warranty. The case fits my IPad tightly, so, I don't have to worry about it slipping out and causing damage to my IPad. In the future when I purchase my Apple Pencil, there is a cradle on the case to place my pencil. This case is sleek, it has multiple typing angles and viewing positions. I love the snap that closes my IPad giving me that extra security of not falling out. This was a "Great buy from Best Buy!

I love this case for the built in holding of my pencil. I'm not worried that it will simply fall out and be lost forever. I also like that when closed u would never know the pencil is in there. The only thing that makes me give it 4 stars is the latch. The plastic closure system makes me nervous that the next time I clasp it shut will be the time it snaps. 4 months and still in tact but feels kinda cheapy
