    IF YOU HAVE READ THE SPENSER BOOKS YOU WILL NOTICE THAT ROBERT URICH AND AVERY BROOKS AND BARBARA STOCK HAVE CAPTURED THE CHARACTERS OF ROBERT B PARKERS BOOKS OF SPENSER. THE DIALOGUE IS JUST AS THE BOOKS ARE WRITTEN. THIS IS PROBABLY DUE TO ROBERT B PARKERS BEING A CONSULTANT ON THE SHOW. IT/S TO BAD THE SHOW ONLY LASTED TWO SEASONS

    I was always a fan of Robert Urich and loved every show he was on (Swat, Vegas) and when the Spenser: For Hire DVD came out I knew I had to add it to my collection..

    I was so happy when I discovered they finally released the final season of this INCREDIBLY AWESOME series. Now I have the entire series and I could not be happier.

    We like to watch the old shows as marathons. They solved the crimes without all the high-tech gadgets.
