"Sphere" is a great science fiction story based on the book by Michael Crichton. It has compelling characters trying to unravel a mystery of an unknown ship of unknown origins. Then there is the mysterious cargo also. Definitely a very entertaining film.

I saw this movie more than 15 years ago when it first came out but couldn't remember much about it. Recently read and loved the book so I just had to watch the dvd to bring the characters to life. Good show although if I hadn't recently read the book I think some parts may have been confusing.

awesome movie suspenseful drama sci-fi flick along the lines of 2001 or Event Horizon

I've watched this movie twice now. Once about 10 years ago, and again just a few weeks ago. And I still can't decide if I like it or not. But it's worth at least one watch if you're a sci-fi fan.

plot kinda floats around and the characters aren't too strongly developed, but it's a fun little sci-fi horror flick if you're into that sort of thing.

This is a great movie, my wife and I love it! This movie combines great acting with great special effects and a great plot. Based on a book by Michael Crichton, this movie will have you guessing all the way to the end. I highly recommend it! Also, some other great films of this genre are Sunshine, Event Horizon, and The Abyss.

Michael Crichton wrote this book and blew my mind! This movie did the same!
