Have bb8 so I had to have this bb9 also, haven't gotten into controlling it real well but I enjoy playing with it.

We conducted races between BB8 and BB9e. And we also had them "talk" to each other. BB9e seems to have an attitude and picks on poor BB8. The droid can either be operated with the wristband or the app on your phone. My 10 yr old niece preferred the wristband operation. But, she interchanged between the two.

The detail in the droid makes it seem like it hopped right out of The Last Jedi. The Sphero Star Wars Droid Series only got better with time. The BB-9E is no exception. Fun, sleek, and everything from the case it comes in to the pure enjoyment of using it make it a very worthwhile buy.

Just received it and strangely enough (as my daughter explained), our R2-D2 and R2-Q5 droids woke themselves up and started beeping for about a minute. This is before we opened the package and opened the app. Did they sense we were getting a BB-9E? Anyway, we are having fun with our new droid.

Bought this for our son who has played with Sphero bots before and it is so fun! The Star Wars app includes great and accurate BB9E sounds and motion, but this also works with the Sphero edu app to program BB9E using scratch-style scripting. Awesome buy at the sale price.

Purchased for my son for Christmas. What a cool toy. It came with the force wristband but he can also use his tablet to control. A neat feature, we have yet to try, is watching Star Wars with BB9. BB9 can react to Star Wars movies while you watch!

My daughter wanted a sphero, but when Best Buy had the BB-8 on sale, I couldn't resist. It is a neat little toy that does everything that the Sphero can do and can also do some Star Wars specific things as well. And it looks cool to boot.

Not quite as amazing as I thought it would be but fun with kids

This is a great conversation piece and fun toy for all ages. I put it on my desk at work and picked a mode that responds to sounds. People get freaked out and think the droid is really cool when he comes to life on his own.

While not worth the full retail price, I got this lil guy on sale and I couldn't be happier! What an incredible piece of technology. I now have all four Sphero Star Wars droids and they do cool stuff together.

These little droids are cool. This one required a software update we did over the phone when we called sphero customer service bc the wristband wasn't connecting w the droid. My kids like whizzing the little guys around the room w a wave of their hand and it seems futuristic. It gets a little boring for the price though

Awesome little thing to pass time with. Try to look out for the sales on this. I don't think this is worth paying more than 100 (regular price). But for the sale price this is definitely worth it.

We got this for our 5 y/o and he loves it. He is still working on mastering the force band. His older brother has mastered the force band and is 8 and is teaching him how to master the force as well.

Purchased this droid as a gift for my techy father-in-law. Thought it'd be a neat toy he could show off at work. It was a great hit. My daughter loved it as well. Really cool. Highly recommend.
