My son always wanted something like this but was unsure if he’ll like it. This product was not expensive and the craft is tough. Needless to say, he enjoys it and it has a pretty long charge life compared to other similar toys.

I bought the hero mini for my son to learn programming.

My son (12 yr old) talked me into this and I have to say, it is pretty cool. Very entertaining. Charges fast and hours of play time. Easy to use & even take on trips to have something to play with.

I love this new and smaller version of the original Sphero. But something wasn’t right. Obviously, it was his (personalized, I know) size. The two are not hugely different, but having this little guy come out of nowhere surprises animals and people alike. Family and guests cannot stop staring at him. They become children themselves and want to play. I do share, but I have yet to learn his full capabilities. Instructions from the app are easy to find. Get one. Take him to work and be a child for a bit to reduce any stress. And don’t forget to share...or not.

The biggest plus of this product is that it charges quickly (about 20 minutes) while other Sphero products take about 2 hours. It is far less expensive so I appreciate that Sphero tried to create something more affordable. It's not very responsive and it clatters as it moves because the tech rolls inside the outer shell. But because of its small size kids are able to do fun things with it such a put it under a plastic cup and make the cup move across a smooth floor. I give this a "yes" recommendation based on being more affordable for some families who want to offer their children a code-capable toy.

I don’t know how I never knew of this gadget. Bought it easy to setup 1 hr charge download app set up and play this is fun for all ages.

Sphero has fun features, I got a match price deal, so I paid less than the sale price. I would say this ball is fun, but not worth over $25 imo.

This ball is kind of fun. More fun for the cat though. I put this thing and start moving it around and the kitten just goes insane for this thing. She runs at it, paws at it, pounces at it and is just fascinated by this thing. The big cat doesn't care about this, but for kittens that are still very much rooted in play, they will love this thing. I guess this thing has games on it, but you will get far more enjoyment out of this thing if you have a very young kitten and just play with it through this.

I love this idea! And it is fun for a bit but definitely overpriced! We are a tech family and sometimes we buy things that we really shouldn’t and this was one of those purchases I bought against my better judgment! This can be something really fun and has a lot of potential for sure, however the fact that it is priced so high for what it does seems very unreasonable. Basically this is 1/2 the price of a Nintendo switch and provides no where near close to the entertainment value. So for the money I have to say no, there are other tech toys on the market that provide the same entertainment value at a much lower price. The things I do enjoy about this toy is that it is sourt of a bridge to early programming for children, it is interactive play through a phone to the real world so instead of just being connected solely to technology they are also playing with something hands on and seeing the physical effects in the real world so for that it’s a fun interactive toy to play with, however at anything over $75 I couldn’t recommend this purchase.

I purchased 3 of these for my children, all which have their own tables and other devices to be able to play with these. They enjoy playing with them very much. I got to admit even I enjoyed trying it out with them. It's relatively easy to set up on devices that have the Google Play Store. However, on Amazon Tablets it was tricky to set up. Besides that it is fun and easy to use.

This product is great because it can be used as a toy and a learning tool so kids can learn coding. Purchased this for the latter and it will work great.

Good toy for child over 8 years old. The only downfall to this sphero is the cheap case that you have to split open everytime you need to charge.

I bought this for my son who has wanted a Sphero for a while now. My kids tend to love a toy for a few weeks and then forget about it. I didn't want to spend a ton for the full size but he still found this fun! He uses it to play with the cat and dog. The IOS app is easy to set up and has a variety of options. Definitely worth the money for the mini!

This Sphero mini is so much fun. My pets are amused by it as am I. I like the different game modes. Just very fun for when you are bored

It’s a good toy! It is very fast and work very well with iPhone
