I originally got it because I have to try most "techy" things, and it ended up being a great toy for my cats! I put it in the floor and they chase it and try to get it constantly...Even my older cat that normals only plays with things that are within his reach was up chasing it!!

Love the look on my coworkers faces as the Sphero would race down the aisles by the cubicles at work. The dogs love chasing it too! I love the way it changes colors! An adult can feel like a kid again while playing with this.

Five year old thought it was so cool. Problem was, you orientate the ball to where you are located so it knows which way is "forward", or "left", and 5 years old don't stay put, so the orientation was always off. Its a quick fix on the phone. But still.

The Sphero Mini line is great for beginner programmers. It works extremely well with Sphero Edu programming suite and allows young programmers, and those that are young at heart, to learn how to code while having fun.

I gave it as a gift to my dad. He loves it. He played bowling with it and hot a kick out of what it does. He has alzheimers and it makes him smile. It made my day knowing he enjoyed the gift I got him

My kids were introduced to the sphero in technology class at school, and have loved it ever since. The sphero mini was a great way for them to continue the interest that was sparked in school, at home!

I am a developer, and got this mainly to test as a bluetooth peripheral with a hand gesture control app I am working on, but as a device by itself, it's a very fun and cute toy to use.

We bought fir 2 brothers 10ish ages that are at the stage of constant fighting. Was unsure as small if it would keep them busy or what it could do other than roll around. They love them

Acceptable for the price but robot moves a bit to abruptly for good control of it. So so as a controller at its games app and moves a little to wildly.

My son is really enjoying this. He has dabbled in the coding. Would be good if it didn't take so long to charge. Other than that it has been something my 9 yo son has spent plenty of time with.

Got for my son for Christmas. 12 year old got his first phone, so looking for something that interacted with his device. He played with this more than any other thing he got for Christmas.

I may be impartial here because I love tech and toys @40yo..... This is something that I burn time with at the office by chasing the intern, or just run it through an obstacle course.

Fun toy that my kids love. Setting up the cones that are supplied for an obstacle course or Bowling with the included bowling pins. Many hours have been enjoyed in the short time we have had it so far.

I bought two of these for my grandkids. They played for hours without getting bored. They had a lot of fun with the cat which was as mesmerized as the kids. Recommend highly.

Have a full size sphero, but i agree with CNET, this is the best cat toy ever. Bang for the buck, if you are curious about the Sphero products, this is a great place to start.

This is the best cat toy ever. I am hoping they add a cat setting. Like when the cat bats at it it rolls away at a 90 degree from the direction the cat hits it at

Got one of these for each of my granddaughters and they have run wild with them. Chasing the dogs and cats and using some old hot wheel tracks to have a Great Time!
