My grandson is a Starwars fanatic and want everything that Starwars

I bought the BB-8 when it first came out and enjoyed it for a while but lost interest after a while. Walmart had an app remote controlled R2 on clearance so I purchased that and has less fun with it. The controls weren’t that great. When this came out, I was interested but didn’t want to spend full retail price on it knowing that BB-8 didn’t hold my interest and the Walmart R2 was below par. I was able to pick this up at a very low price and with gift cards I received as a gift, it cost me next to nothing. I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. The controls are very responsive. Much better than the rolling ball that is BB-8 and a thousand times better than that other R2. My dog also loves barking at it and chasing it around. It was well worth getting.

I read the reviews and they said R2-D2 was a very friendly and talks a lot.They were right. My cats like him also. I love to hear his beeps. He also comes with a lot a features related with Star Wars. Lots of FUN for ALL!

I can not praise the rendition of R2-D2 enough. The performance, features, durability, functions, and personality is really captured in this Droid. Unlike BB-8 & BB-9E, this Droid can do so much more. It is well worth every penny and the wait. Really glad I added it to my collection.

It works so much better than BB-8 that I just had to add it to my nerd collection.

The weight and build quality of this R2 unit and of course the sounds the little guy makes are worth it. I'm not sure how much I will actually roll him around, so much as I like just the way he looks and the noises, but this certainly is one of the better versions of this droid that has been produced over the years. A great display item, more for a collector than a kid's toy.

Fantastic addition by Sphero to the BB8 droid. Absolutely love it and very realistic. This is worth having in your collection. The addition of the Force band makes it more enjoyable and realistic.
