R2-Q5 is perfect. He (& R2-D2) is easily the best remote controlled Astromech Droid made.

OK. I bought this on clearance. I think half price. It is high quality and easy to use. The things it does are very smooth and simple. I tried the "watch with" feature and it worked. Just be ready for a low cost robot with very limited actions.

The fact that this was a limited item sold by Best Buy made it more special and a bit more coveted than r2d2. The details in the droid are very good. I would say it is very durable as my toddler has grabbed it and drop it a couple of times. The app is easy to download and to maneuver the droid. The sounds the droid make add up to the experience.

The box is very sleak. The robot beeps and makes noise just like the movie.

Awesome R/C toy from watching Star Wars to playing with it with my toddler is great fun. The sounds and lights effect are great too especially with the lastest app update which gives u more emotes with R2-Q5

This is the first droid but second Sphero product we have purchased. It is build well which is important when paying as much for a high end toy for a 4 year old. Easy to setup and lots to do with it.

To use this Droid you must download to your cell phone the sphero app to control the Droid.It will not work without this.[This app will control all the Droids,if you have more than this one] Set your bluetooth on and turn on the sphero app. Sync up your Droid .It will light up and moves from standing to ready position and the third leg comes out ready to move. I won't go in all the commands but to say there are many. Sounds do come out from the Droid . This will works better on floors not carpet. I have all the Droids so this completes the set. Love this one. Great looking on my desk. Easy to control with app and connects easily. Really fun to annoy my wife when she is trying to watch TV. I highly recommend it is used for this purpose.

This is a great toy and the forceband makes it so much easier to use without a phone. The kids love it and I will admit that it is cool to see an R2 unit going around the house.

I love Sphero's innovation in droid making. This isn't a practical device, just simply one of joy and fun. R2-Q5 was a droid from The Return of the Jedi. You can see him standing next to Darth Vader on Endor when he is about to meet Luke Skywalker. R2-Q5 is easily controlled by the Sphere iOS or Android app. Sphero is good on keeping the firmware current and adding new features, so the droid gets better over time. You do need a smartphone regardless to control the droid. If you love Star Wars, you love these little droids.

EVERY star wars fan loves r2d2 so this little guy is a cool addition to the universe. looks way cooler than r2 in my opinion, haven't actually played with it yet so can't comment on the actual functions of it, but can't wait to!

I got this guy in a daily deal I could not pass up on. He is great and a lot of fun, but a few key things to keep in mind. He comes with basically nothing but the robot itself. No instructions or anything. You have to download the app on the mobile device, and go from there. Once doing that and using it to figure things out, the fun really begins. It is great and does a ton of things. I do have concerns about the battery. There are times I thought it was more or less off, but when I went to use it the battery in it was dead. Keeping it charged is a little bit of a challenge. Getting back to using it, it does many things and if you are a Star Wars fan you will likely love it as I do. Not perfect, but very good!

My 5yo got this as a gift and loves it! Definitely need the app for full functionality. Works with other Sphero apps too!

I saw this as a Best Buy Deal of the Day at an Amazing Price so I decided to invest in it. Pretty easy to set up charging and downloading the App. At 1st, it scared my dogs, now they go to attack it. Being a big STAR WARS fan, I figured it would be just out for display, but then I turn on the App to freak out the dogs. After getting this, I just had to get the R2-D2 one During the 3 Day Sale. Now I can run both at the same time. Like I said, Pretty Cool Droids!

Thought that this R2 unit did more than it really does. Apparently, I should have read the entire box before purchasing. I asked questions to an associate but he didn't know and acted like he did. The APP has great features and my son loves the thing so it wasn't a bad purchase overall.

I got a really good Christmas deal on this. Love it. Goes faster then other R2 RC’s in the past and does all kinds of cool things. Like throwing a tantrum(no joke) . Plus it just looks cool
