This movie was a great sequel that has the MCU's best CGI. The story finally showed Spider-Man having to deal with his own problems due to Iron-Man's death in Endgame. I would recommend this movie to anyone that enjoys Spider-Man.

I bought it for Black Friday that was good movie. But i was disappointed that the paper white cover case picture don't have it same as DVD case paper white (inside and outside white paper cover case). see a picture.

I found this really competed with Spider-Man: Homecoming for best live-action Spidey film. Far from Home is equivalent to an amusement park ride, just an onslaught of entertainment. The story takes a different path. Spider-Man/Peter Parker (Tom Holland), whose past films have been intertwined with New York City, finds himself on a trip across Europe, resulting in some really scenic visuals. (There is one scene in the Netherlands that is just superb.) Also Peter Parker is on a higher tier of crime fighting, and it's a decent story arc as he has to deal with it. There are a couple of moments where this movie did some surprising things. Dealing with the events from Infinity War and Endgame is done surprisingly well. Be sure to watch through the entire credits. Trust me. The entire film, like the last one, is pretty funny. More time is spent focusing on Peter's classmates and other supporting cast and they all really shine. At times, the high school rom-com part of this movie can dominate the superhero part, and I really didn't mind. Also glad we got Happy Hogan, who continues to sort of be Spider-Man's handler, and I'm glad that Jon Favreau's still willing to play the role given his busy directing career. As with most MCU movies, the effects and visuals really stand out. There are a couple fights that are fairly different from past Marvel films. I'm both surprised and pleased that they managed to translate Mysterio's costume to film, dome helmet, eye-pyramid cape clasps, . It's just that superhero films have historically cared less about accurately maintaining villain outfits and between this and Aqua Man, it's nice to see a change. I honestly feel this ties with Homecoming for best live-action film. This is a lighter film, and I honestly can't say this was most experimental or deepest in tone or message. But, this is a movie that just wants to be fun, and it really does that.

After Endgame, I wondered what could be next and this movie definitely didn't disappoint! I love superhero movies that, even though they're still fantastical and obviously fictitious, explain themselves and aren't so fantastical that they're completely unbelievable. This one fit that bill to a "T". At first I wasn't sure about Mysterio and I knew that there had to be a catch and when he showed his true colors it made me like him a lot! I have to admit: I LOVE Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Holland and I'd probably watch them in anything at least once, but I'm so glad I've purchased this and will definitely watch it again and again! Another thing: I'm pleasantly surprised by Zendaya's character development and acting chops! She's not a damsel in distress like Kirsten Dunst was in the last Spider-Man trilogy (sorry, didn't even bother with the last set made with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone) and the relationship between her and Tom Holland seems plausible and like a match made in reality, but not "in heaven" (i.e. perfect and squeaky clean). Gah. Just watch this movie. You won't be sorry!

Im a big fan of the MCU and admittedly sometimes a bit of a sucker for these sorts of flicks. Maybe by some standards this isn't a 5* film but I had a blast watching it and really isn't that what these sorts of movies are all about? Tom Holland continues to show why many consider him to be the best Spider Man ever. But as good as he is, he still isn't quite as impressive as Jake Gyllenhaal. Gyllenhaal is amazing as Mysterio. I knew a little about the character from the comics but still didnt know which was Mysterios allegiances were going to break. On second viewing, seeing it all with the perspective of knowing where is goes is just as satisfying as the first time. Marvel continues to set the bar for these sorts of films once again with incredible, off the charts production value. The movie is shot beautifully. But I have to specifically point out a couple of illusion sequences that are mind bending. Not just the quality of the CGI but the wonderfully imagined sequences are executed to perfection. Highly recommend to any MCU fan, but I think anyone can enjoy this high flying adventure without knowing the greater cinematic universe.

This movie does a great job answering some of the questions a lot of us had after Avengers Endgame. I appreciate how Marvel keeps the narrative going. It is also a pleasure to see Nick Fury and Maria Hill given a lot of screen time. But, ultimately, this IS a Spiderman movie. I always enjoyed Toby Maguire's take on the character, Tom Holland seems to better capture the teenage insecurities and anxieties, despite being in his early 20's. The travel story and interplay with his classmates is the best part of the movie. Also, his early scenes with Jake Gyllenhaal resonate. And it is always a treat to see Marisa Tomei. Yes, there are big action set pieces and they are ok. But the battles in these movies get a hit repetitious in all honesty. Still, I was very entertained and that is what matters at the end of the day. Good pricing on this - regular Bluray, digital copy for on the go (get a Vudu account and link this. Doesn't cost anything) and a 4k copy for when I upgrade to a 4k player.

It must be said that this is the film that finally sees Peter Parker/ Spider-Man set himself apart from Iron Man and take some responsibility. I’m glad Sony and Marvel worked out another deal, because this movie would’ve become pointless otherwise. There is great humor, loads of entertaining characters in a class trip setting, and Peter must balance his superhero life with his class trip/ love life. It felt like watching an episode of Spectacular Spider-Man. All I will say about Mysterio is that they nailed his visual illusions so well. If you like Spider-Man, this is for you!

I wasn't sure that taking Spider-Man away from NYC would work, but I was wrong. I had a blast watching this film. I won't get into the plot because I feel the less you know, the better. The 4K HDR presentation here (in Dolby Vision) is amazing. I can confidently say it was shot digitally without even looking it up. There is no film grain to be found on this disc...and I do like film grain, actually. But this disc provides a clean, crisp 4K image. Detail is abundant. Plenty of color and high contrast...it's a real treat to watch. The sound quality is no slouch, either. The Dolby Atmos track will have you in the middle of the action. When Mysterio is talking you hear his voice above you in some scenes. This is one to definitely add to your 4K collection. Oh, and I love the 4K slipcover. Very nice!

Without spoiling anything, the film is tremendously good. It’s entrenched in the mythos of the MCU and all the better for it. Not quite what I’d expected but so much better than I’d imagined. The Bonus Features are better than average for an MCU film. Most of Marvel’s recent home releases feel like a perfunctory effort in this regard. Here, there are nine featurettes that are lengthy enough to constitute a healthy behind the scenes look at Far From Home and it doesn’t stop there. There’s a gag reel, deleted scenes, Previz comparison sequences, Easter egg promo, a short film, and more. I would’ve enjoyed a couple commentary tracks, especially one that brought together the younger cast members to recount their experiences. I’m happy with what we got but that would’ve made me a bit happier.

Spider-Man Far From Home is a great return to form and continuation of the Spider-Man Homecoming, as well as Avenger's Endgame. Peter Parker is set to go on a European school trip following the events of Endgame while an evil force threatens to ruin both his trip and endanger millions of lives. The story and comedy are great and lead to an ending that has you waiting to see what happens next. The UHD 4K presentation is great though it is a little soft from being a 2K transfer like so many 4K UHD films today. But the Dolby Vision version of the film is amazing with great color accuracy and a good amount of detail. The Dolby Atmos track is okay but lacks a lot bass that really should be there. All around this is a great movie and worth picking up in it's current premium form.

Peter Parker and his school mates go to Europe while bad creatures attack. Peter has to keep his identity safe and Ned helps get his fellow students away from danger. The Elementals are the bad guys that "Mysterio" destroys. Spiderman was given special glasses from Tony Stark and that is what the good guy gone bad "Mysterio" wants. Eventually "Mysterio" gets the glasses and creates havoc and destruction with drones that creates illusions, the Elementals (as previously mentioned). You really need to see the rest of the movie to find out how Spiderman does defeating "Mysterio." There are 2 short clips during the credits and they need to be seen. Enjoy!

Biggest Spiderman fan ever. I been collecting Comic books for 35 years. Them when the Toby Spiderman movies come out I was so hype up Watch them all in 3D at the theaters. Then once the 2nd edition came out I bought the bluray 3-D versions as well of watching them at the theaters. Now I bought spiderman Homecoming in 3-D. Then This one came out No 3-D 'version so I bought my first 4K Movie Far from home. What a great movie. Watch it on my 65inch Sony Bravia 4k TV on my Spiderman Playstation 4 Pro Edition. Well I thought I was my ps4 doesn't play 4k movies. So I bought a Sony 4k player watch in love it 5 out of 5 !!!! Thanl you Marvel Universe

Best Spidy IMO. Movie is true 4K and sound is great. Will watch again. The illusion scene and final battle still messes with me and looks amazing on 4K TV display . Recommend if you are a true spiderman fan. Tom holand gives the geeky hs crush side that brings back the classic spider man like in the comics.

This release offers a variety of fun action sequences mixed with lighthearted humor and effective melodrama. However, the MVP of the story is Mysterio, a new character to the MCU who is incredibly well-realized. The sequence featuring Spider-Man caught in a series of Mysterio’s illusions (with a touch of horror dropped in) is quite disorienting and effective. The other supporting characters also have their time to shine, especially Ned and MJ. And the film ends on such an amazing cliffhanger that it makes the next chapter in the Spider-Man franchise even more anticipatory.

man just when i thought they couldn't top the first one they come out with this masterful sequel. First off what made me love the movie right off the start was that it had jake gyllenhall ( sorry to butcher his name) he is one of my favorite actors. i love how much the movie is pretty much a fake, which by that i mean most of it wasn't real do to mysterios tricks. this flick is very hilarious from start to finish and i am glad to see that the movie finally has a believable love story for spidermonkey highly recommend this movie to anyone that loves comic book movies.
