The 25th hour is a well acted movie that seems to be adapted from a play. The story is ok but the acting is phenomenal. The late great Phillip Seymour Hoffman plays his usual awkward character from the late 90s (think "Happiness") and Rosario Dawson is at her sexy best. Edward Norton shows us here why he's one of the best actors of his generation and in his bathroom mirror Monologue about New York, my goodness does he not sum up the spirit of this city and it's people. Sure, he goes bananas, off the deep end, but in the context of his situation, can you blame him? Still, the movie is not bad but it's showing signs of age. He Got Game is another beast altogether. Denzel Washington is in top form and Ray Allen surprises as the young buck.

These are 2 of Spike Lee's best films, and it's nice to have these on blu-ray. There are some new special features and it appears that the original features for 25th Hour are included as well.

These are two great Spike Lee movies. 25th Hour is the first honest depiction of a post 9/11 New York. He Got Game show how far some people will do to get their star recruit to attend their alma mater.

I really enjoy spike's work and I've never seen these two in their entirety.

I only bought this because the only way to get He Got Game on blu ray is with this

The spike lee directed movie speaks for it self, great story HE's Got game and 25th , love Edward Norton character!
