Spiral gave a new take on the 'Saw' series, which I enjoyed very much. As a big fan of the franchise, this movie had very creative (and painful) traps and interesting characters. My only gripe was the condition of the steelbook. There was some pieces of plastic that had broken off inside and almost cut me when I opened it. Just as Jigsaw had said, "Oh, yes, there will be blood."

Spiral: From The Book Of Saw is a fantastic addition to the Saw franchise that delivers some much-needed comedy and a new and different direction from the previous eight films, while at the same time, sticking to the overall point and entertainment factor of everything that came before. One can hope for more films with the cast and crew that explore the future exploits of Spiral. This 4K UHD release has an amazing video presentation, a killer Dolby Atmos track, and some informative and interesting extras. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Horror films have gotten dull for me cus our political system feels like one...yikes

Steelbook is nice. Movie is just OK. Worth having especially if you're a Saw fan

Thrilling and suspenseful horror film! It keeps you guessing throughout and is full of exciting twists. I bought the steelbook version which looks terrific and is a must own for collectors. I would recommend it for any fans of the saw films and it features a strong performance from Chris rock in a non comedy role for a change. Hopefully, they will make a sequel.

Good movie I got this for a good price can’t beat that

Movie was watchable but not an instant classic by any means. Chris held his own very well...Im actually looking forward for more of him on the horror genre. I think this going into horror movies was a good move on his part. Would love a pairing of him with Will Smith....Jada would be added bonus.

I enjoyed this movie a lot. My opinion going in to it, was the notion that it would be your typical predictable Saw movie… but it was anything but that! It kept me guessing all the way up to the climactic ending. If you have enjoyed the Saw franchise, you will definitely enjoy this movie just as much as it’s predecessors (if not more). Chris Rock and Samuel Jackson also make a fun addition to the franchise.

Beautiful steelbook. If you don't like sub-plots to franchise's then I don't recommend this to you. I believe it's pretty good and deserves more credit, but it's understandable as to why people don't like it. However, if you're an avid collector, this is a must. It's absolutely stunning.

This is not my cup of tea, but I bought it for a gift for somebody who is obsessed with the saw franchise. They just had to have this one to add to their collection which I highly recommend as this was a good price for a Blu-ray and DVD copy. It’s a little different from the original saw series as it has a little bit more comedy in it.

Was Spiral a terrible movie? Absolutely. I only purchased this for the awesome coverart on the steelbook. Also being a massive SAW fan this one definitely ranks the lowest of the series for me but I still have to own it because i have all the others and need to have a complete collection before we eventually get a final collector's box edition

Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran, brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks and his rookie partner take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.

The movie is far more brutal than I originally expected. I personally wasn’t annoyed by Chris Rock’s performance like some people claim they have. I was pretty invested in the story itself. This movie is gory and the performances were well done! I love this steelbook and really like how it includes a transparent slip cover. Super glad I have it in my collection.

Worth watching mainly for the outstanding video and audio quality. The video and Atmos track are among the best I've experienced this year on UHD. The steelbook itself is awesome, and is very well designed. The movie itself is just OK. Not the greatest film in the series, but way better than the last couple installments.

Didn’t think I’d see the day Chris Rock AND Sam Jackson would be in a horror movie, much less a Saw flick! Ok story aside, thie pick and sound quality is top notch, and a smattering of extras to boot… not a bad addition to the franchise!

Not a bad Steelbook for 10 bucks. Not the greatest film in the saw family but worth a watch. Chris rock had some funny jokes. Didn’t care too much for the “jigsaw” character in this film but still worth the watch and worth adding to my collection.

The picture quality on this 4k is phenomenal, every gruesome detail shows on screen. Unfortunately the movie is an ok. While it starts off strong, the ends up predictable. Although they did try to do something with including some real themes which I appreciated.

Spiral is not a direct sequel to SAW. As the producers state, it is a stand alone movie in the SAW universe. It is a very good film. The story is tight. The acting is spot on. The bits of humor Chris Rock brings to the movie is believable and does not retract in any way to tense action. Highly recommended.

If you are a Saw freak, you definitely need to get this. It had a few spots that were a little 'mellow' for me but set the story so it made sense. Just like in the Saw series, just you think you figured everything out, you're proven wrong. LoL. Awesome gore, great cast, will absolutely watch again!

Nothing will ever be the very first saw, however this is an incredible reboot to the series. The cinnamatography is amazing! The soundtrack on point! I was very skeptical at first on seeing big names being added to the series, but everyone knocked out the park. 9 out of 10 definitely would recommend
