I enjoyed Spirited Away but I was expecting a deeper story. It was different and interesting but I think this movie was for a younger audience.

Honestly it's near the bottom for me when it comes to these movies. It's weird, and I my opinion always overpriced, but my gf loves it.

Good quality production and animation with a nice story. Great start for anyone new to anime.

I adore all of Miyazaki-san's work, and Spirited Away is one of my favorites. So I was very disappointed when I popped the DVD disk into my laptop's DVD drive and found that it freezes up at 00:02:28, and no amount of rebooting can get it to work. Since I am a silly person, I deleted the emailed receipt I got when I made my purchase, but I'm still going to try to exchange this copy of the movie for another one that hopefully works.

I loved Ponyo and My Neighbor Totoro so I was overly confident when picking this movie. I was expecting a fun, heartwarming kid movie. Instead I got a movie that is terrifying. Seriously couldn't even finish the movie. I would only recommend it to a friend if I want to induce nightmares in their lives.

Incredible movie. Terrible on Best Buy's end. The steel was damaged and dented and they don't care. Be sure to really check your steels in the store

there are two discs blu ray and dvd. the subtitles are white without black outlines on blu ray dvd. it is hard to watch compared to DVD.

This movie has been my favorite movie of all time, and now it is available on Blu-ray, and I had to get it. It looks absolutely stunning on a 65 inch 4K television – and all the emotions came back when I watched it again. The English dubbed is very good but I have watched it in Japanese, I enjoy that too. The story is about a young girl who along with her family, was moving to a new home. Somehow her parents were drawn into stopping at an abandoned amusement park. They started to eat the food at a restaurant (which had no one working), and were transformed into pigs. The girl had to do everything to return her parents into human form again. (This is how the movie gets fun.) There are parts that brought me to tears, and there are many moments that made me smile. It truly is a family-friendly movie although very young children may think that the ghost characters can be too scary. (Those who may feel that way are probably too young to watch something this long anyway.) It is a true gem from the studio – totally hand-drawn, with good music, good story, and good script - and it won an Oscar that year. I am so happy is available at a decent price on Blu-ray at Best Buy.
