This game was the best game of all time cause u get to fight evil stupid fish salmon guys but they actually fight you back, when i bought this game i was jusy thinking i would get to powertrip on the salmonids (as they call them), they fight BACK (evil) Its still fun though, they REALY like pots and pans, the big guys hit you with a GIANT pan and its like crazy. This game plays exactly like how your dad describes fishing trips, everything goes wrong but you somehoe come out unscathed. TLDR: fish are evil, and u get to powertrip on them (if you are good)

This game lives up to the hype, if you are new to the series or want to introduce someone to splatoon this is the best place to start. Great main story game play and post story replayability

I’m loving it so far! I’m having so much fun, and I honestly think it’s even better for people playing Splatoon for the first time. I introduced it to some of my friends, and they’ve been having a blast with it too!

This video game is absolutely incredible. It looks great and runs great on the switch 2. There is so much to do and the gameplay is so much fun. There are a lot of upgrades and play styles and the levels are really fun but not too overly complicated. A fantastic game that I highly recommend.

Best game 10/10 my favorite game by far this year the games quality is top tier and it also has the best gameplay mechanics by far for this years game select even possibly winning game of the year honestly it’s really good and i’ve loved every game since splatoon 1

I normally play single-player titles, but I've wanted to try the Splatoon series for a while and this entry did not disappoint. Being able to learn the mechanics without the pressure of online co-op was exactly what I wanted. The bulk of the game consists of exploring zones, fighting off hordes of Salmonids, and upgrading your gear/outfits/homebase. Combat can get frantic in the best ways with different weapon style to experiment with and the game performance was great considering the chaos that can happen onscreen. My favorite parts were the compass challenges that test your skills with specific gear to reach the end while broadening your understanding of the tools you have. These compasses are hidden throughout different levels so be on the lookout for them. Would happily recommend to anyone interested in giving the series a try and I look forward to what the dev team comes up with next.

This game is perfect for those that enjoyed Splatoon's single player aspects from previous games. It does a fantastic job of getting hooked with that looter shooter gameplay loop. Highly recommend, performs well and is a treat to look at.

For a splatoon spin off i was already excited since side order/octo expansion had awesome potential to evolve the series. Raiders does that in a super fun and creative way! It sort of has softcore rouge-light aspects which makes replaying it very fun for different gear loadouts and customization. Also OH MY GOSH THEY FINALLY MADE DEEP-CUT LIKEABLE AND GAVE THEM DEEPER PERSONALITIES OUTSIDE THE GAME THEY WERE INTRODUCED IN. Overall if you like splatoon, its def a must buy! (Also the ink looks incredible too might lol)

Splatoon Raiders is such a fun game to play. I have not finished the game just yet (nearing the end of game) but the music, design, and gameplay makes this such a great game. The direction this spinoff game took was also cool as the game play is very addictive and replay-able. You can do so much, such as customizing your load out to fit your style of play or try something completely new. Whether you are a Splatoon player or are new to Splatoon this is definitely a fun game to pick up and play!!

The game plays like Salmon run but with some experimentation. Now assume this solo game is so they can test out new gameplay concepts with out introducing them into a pvp settings where balance is important. If you want PvP and competition, this isn't the splatoon game for you. However, if you want a game that has lore sprinkled throughout and a chance to challenge youself or with co op with the not competitive game of splatoon or need a place to better learn the controls of splatoon with out pressure of pvp. It should make for a good starting point in mastering the very unqinue way splatoon motion control aiming worse. It won't perpare you for pvp in other splatoon games but would atleast make you more comfortable with the controls aspects of splatoon that often are a wall for new players in the mainline game.

This game slaps! The game does NOT hold your hand and isn't scared to test your skills. The gadget system is super fun and rewarding, and it's incredibly satisfying to make an overpowered kit. Overall, if you love Splatoon (Especially Salmon Run), than this game is for you.

It’s easy to jump into but challenging enough to keep you coming back for “just one more round.” A great choice for Splatoon fans and anyone looking for something fun, energetic, and refreshingly different.

The game arrived in perfect condition and I was surprised that it was a full on cartridge game and not a key card which is a major positive for me. The game is super fun and brings the world and gameplay of the Splatoon series to players who might not like multiplayer PvP games. Definitely recommend if you're a fan of the series or looking for a good entry point.

Coming from an OG Splatoon fan, this game rocks! Nothing will come close to Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion, but Raiders is fun, beautiful, and everything that fans have come to love with the quality Splatoon in a smaller package. Highly recommended if you love Salmon Run and cool cutscenes.
