It needs to be a part 2 to this excellent movie. Not for toddler's or little children.

Splice is a decent sci-fi movie, gets you thinking about what could happen, especially now days with all of the research in genetics

I was really looking forward to seeing this movie when it came out. It looked awesome and exciting, most of it was. But when they add all the s-e-x it takes away from the movie, I think so anyway. And i'm sure they thought it was necessary for the story, but i don't think so.I knew there was going to be s-e-x content, and I can handle some, but WOW. i mean i dont really need to see the two scientists each "do it" with their creation. So I thought this movie was going to be really awesome, but the s-e-x content really turned me off, lol. That'sjust how I feel about it, but everything else was cool about it. (btw, had to write s-e-x, because inappropriate language, i guess...??)

Splice was not a horror/gore fest, at least not for about 75% of the movie. But the story was compelling and you really start to care about the characters. This movie reminded me of the Frankenstein story with a serious twist. The creator and monster part at least. People were also comparing it to Species, though I thought that movie was average. This movie is far superior than Species. The acting is better, the story is better and the dialogue were great. The message behind the movie was also good, i.e. Don't mess with mother nature. Special effects were excellent and the movie looks beautiful on Blu-ray. If you like mysteries/sci-fi, this one is a winner.

This is one of those strange flicks I like to watch with friends to see their reactions. It's not boring, it's just weird. Ending gets a little cheesy but I dig it.

thought this was very interesting as we all know these kind of experiments are most likely happening.

Movie started off good I was really into it, then it just turned into some jerry springer garbage!! Oh I'm not a good mother what should I do!! Oh I just slept with my science experiment and now it wants to eat my face!! If you still want to watch this movie I will dig it out of my garbage and let ya have it!!

This movie was too predictable and way too long. No wonder it came out so quick in DVD
