Aaron Sorkin's writing is great as always, the character dialog is fast, so you have to pay attention to get all of the jokes.It ended too soon, but at least they were able to complete most of the plot lines when they were cancelled.

I don't know where the quote is from but this is a show about a sports show that's not about sports! Fans of Aaron Sorkin and The West Wing should definitely enjoy this series. The quick witted dialog and character driven, engaging story lines are great! Anyone looking for an interesting, smart, and heartfelt TV show (which has become so rare these days), should check this series out. It should have never been canceled so quickly.

I have never seen sports night previously to purchasing the dvd set. It does not have the more polished feel that the West Wind did, but it is good inteligent programming the like of which is rather rare in the programs availablle today.

Great collection of all the Sports Note shows. A great series that got cut short well before its time. Fabulous scripts, excellent acting.
