It works. had to get help @ 1st because of the code. But the support team was right there. Rest assured you WONT lose your current playlist or data that you’ve saved. They added my new card info while my music wad playing, no hiccups no problems. No more paying monthly for me. If the card doesn’t work right away just get the support team to help.

This is a awesome deal for Spotify. I was going to join my friends plan, but this is about the same price and you own the account. I did have issues adding the digital card to my cart and had to go in store to purchase. Not a big deal bc it's always fun to drive to Best Buy and get a good look at their products

I mean it’s the best thing ever to buy gift cards in store. Not only as a gift for someone but if you have a Best Buy credit card you get money back for buying gift cards or your can finance interest free for up to 12 months I also love buying the hundred dollar Spotify gift card versus paying almost $12 a month. I know it’s not a huge saving but it means a lot to me. Thanks, Best Buy.

I was switching from Apple Music to Spotify this year and disappointed Spotify didn’t have a year subscription model like Apple Music but then my friend informed me that they did I just had to buy a physical gift card from Best Buy, the process to apply it to my account was fine I had the premium from the month I was already paying plus the year I applied this so I won’t be paying again until January 2026 great value.

I do this every year to save money and avoid monthly payments.

I love spotify. Saving some money paying yearly is great compared to the monthly fee. Only tricky part is adding the value to your account. Until they update it, you can't a new card until your old card expires.

I have been paying monthly for Spotify and do not forsee cancelling my membership anytime soon. Along with other subscription services some of them have options to pay for the year which ends up being cheaper. I was looking for a way to do that with Spotify and came up with nothing until I found this. Instead of $120ish a year when paying month to month I am not able to have a year for only $100! Although, I did have to total cancel my premium and then upload the card to have it activated but overall, that's worth the $20 I just saved.
