This ice machine is exactly as advertised. It efficiently makes a lot of ice and keeps it cold until you can get to it and make plastic bags to put in the household freezer for future use if not immediate use. It is good looking, easy to operate and no assembly required. The vinegar clean method is simple and seems effective.

this is my forth portable icemaker, and will be my last. Wish I bought this one first......for I wouldn't choose another brand again. I'm very pleased with the SPT, makes ice very fast, easy to clean and the timer is the best, always have ice when i need it.

We love it! Much better than the last one we had. It makes ice very quickly and makes a lot! The ice is larger and harder. It melts but very slowly. We turn it off before bed and there is still ice in the morning. We never run out of ice now. My husband drinks a lot of water and my refrigerator icemaker could not keep up. This is a big help to our marriage because I, too, can have ice!! :-) It is very easy to clean with the self-cleaning feature! My old one was so difficult. Plus it always had some type of residue that I was constantly cleaning. This was even though we have a whole home water purification system with an extra a double osmotic filter. This ice make gives us clean ice every time. My only complaint is that is a little too loud. But, we have adjusted. It is located in our laundry/pantry room, so I can just shut the door. Not a problem for all the advantages of this machine.

I've owned 3 ice makers over the years and this is by far the best one of them all. Makes a lot of ice in a short amount of time. A bit noisy but you get used to it. Would recommend to all.

See above-ice maker shuts itself off when the seal around the numbers pop out and we have to watch it closely and push them back in so they're flush.

Bought this for our company break room as the fridge ice maker couldn't keep up. This works so well and was a great bargain at the same time.

This is the third counter top ice machine I have purchased over the years, and unfortunately, this one is horrible! The front control panel keeps peeling up and when it does, it causes the ice maker to stop working. I put duct tape on it to try and hold it in place, but it still peels up and stops working. Do not buy this item! The problem is the way the control panel is constructed.

The ice maker in the fridge cannot keep up with the demand of ice the family needs. This has been the perfect solution. Self cleaning option makes it easy to clean and well worth it.
