    The low setting is not annoying. seems to clean the dust out of the air. I haven't opened it up to see how much dust or how well it handles the dirt inside.

    I got this for my mother who for the first time in 80+ years is experiencing allergies. She keeps the air filter in her bedroom and runs it at night. It has significantly helped her. She said when she has forgotten to turn it on, she wakes up stuffy, sneezing and coughing. The nights it runs, she wakes up fine.
