I hadn't seen this movie since its theatrical release so it was a pleasant surprise to watch it again and this time in 3D. Excellent performances by a stellar cast.

I only bought this because my husband wanted it. He's a huge history buff. It was an okay movie. The special effects were on point. The love story kept my interest.

It's good to see a World world 2 story from another countries view point and perspective. I had not seen a World War 2 Story in 3D, Very well done.

This war story was good with interesting story line behind each character in the movie. Some scenes showed a sense of humanity toward the enemy. Great movie with some cool effects. Bluray shows grreat detail.

Never heard of this film and found it in the 3D isle. Bought it for the price and was amazed by how good it was. Good addition to our 3D collection!!

This is a ok war film, not very accurate but it is entertaining through most of its run time. It does drag in the middle and some stuff is over the top.

I was in Stalingrad last year and went through a World War II museum in Moscow a few days later and saw dioramas of this. Looking forward to seeing it.

This epic war drama can get a little slow at times but the director somehow brings it back with great visuals. Stalingrad is a visual masterpiece!

Reminds you that your freedom is never free and war is a struggle for civilians as well as the soldiers

I am a history guy. I bought this to watch after tax season. I don't know much about the battle for Slatingrad so I am excited to watch it.

3d is not all that impressive but I wanted a WWII film in 3d - nothing ground breaking but it is decent enough . Take in mind this is a Russian film dubbed in English though - that or read subtitles in 3D...

Firstly this is a film that 'takes' place during the Battle of Stalingrad, NOT a film about the Battle of Stalingrad; having said that, this film is engaging; beautifully shot; excellent Blu-Ray image; well done depiction of the men and machines of that era; CGI is well done and not overdone; and for the most part respects history. Highly recommended.

Decent but not great. I liked Enemy at the Gates a lot more. Not that many movies about the Eastern Front of WW2, so glad at least to see something new.

The english voice-overs aside, I thought the movie was pretty good. The dubbing was a bit distracting but the movie looked fantastic.

A great Russian epic drama/love story. This comes with both 3D and 2D versions with an Ultraviolet copy included at a great price.

Well written, the plot was compelling, subtitles easy to read. Cinematography was superb.

Watched the movie with Russian language and English subtitles. An okay movie to watch one time about the Russian army and people defending the city of Stalingrad against the invading German army.

Awesome 3D, fairly good plot, If you like war movies with lots of personal conflicts, you will overlook the subtitles.

I thought the movie was very entertaining, however it is more emotional than historic. Great special effects though.
