I have had my Standout Designs Haven Console for over 9 months now and I am very pleased with my purchase! I was so pleased, I bought a coffee table, end table and two Haven Towers that match my original purchase. Just putting the stand together was a treat! It ships almost entirely in one piece, except for the glass doors, fans and knobs. When you add your electronics, you notice that every wiring situation was considered and addressed with a solid wood (instead of typical particle board found in most furniture built these days), multi paneled back with holes large enough to manage all the wiring needed for a high end entertainment system. The slides in the drawers are smooth, the dove tail construction provides a solidness you find only in much older built furniture. Standout Designs does not cut corners. They exceed all standards of most furniture builders and like the 1886 roll-top desk I inherited from my grandparents, and them from their parents, I expect this furniture to last as long, if not longer.
