I was unpleasantly surprised upon unboxing this vacuum due to the diameter and configuration of the hose. It's about 1/2 the diameter of a traditional shop-vac, and has a curve at the inlet to create an internal vortex, but at least in my experience it limited the ability to pick up anything larger than a marble. Will be taking this back.

This was an impulse purchase - the box photo looked good and I needed a vac to replace an old and small failing one.. The deal killer: My first use was to vacuum the trunk of my Sonata (this is not a big trunk). Arrgh. The hose was so short that I had to pick up the vac and put it into the trunk before I could reach the back corner. An irritation but not a deal killer: The short power cord .means that you have to use an extension cord for any job. And the cord is stiff. A long and flexible cord would have been nice. A longer cord and hose would have made this a really lovely vac. I'll cut and replace the power cord to resolve that problem. (That's not trivial, but not a major effort.) But the hose uses a screw on fitting to mate to the tank - I don't know of a source for a better hose, and the short hose really limits the vac's usefulness.

This was one of the best purchases I made when moving out of a rental house. I used it to vacuum out the drawers to make it easier to clean them, vacuumed baseboard, cob webs off ceiling. Very light and easy to move around with. Great suction. This vacuum easily saved me hours of cleaning time and I used it everywhere in the house. Have not tried it for wet job. Purchased at warehouse store.
