It's about time they release some of Kubrick's outstanding films such as "The Shining" & "2001: A Space Odyssey" all remastered for the first time. Although they remastered these films a while back, some people were displeased when some of the films were shown in a standard full screen format. Well those people say no more as the movies featured in this box set will all be in the 16x9 format and include some special features which the other DVD releases lacked. The movies included in this box set release are the following: "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968) (Two-Disc Special Edition) "A Clockwork Orange" (1970) (Two-Disc Special Edition) "The Shining" (1980) (Two-Disc Special Edition) "Full Metal Jacket" (1984) (Deluxe Edition) "Eyes Wide Shut" (1999) (Two-Disc Special Edition) (Including The Director's Cut of The Film) and finally the long out of print documentary: "Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures". My only problem is that they should've added his other two minor masterpieces "Lolita" & "Barry Lyndon". But this box set should be enough to satisfy any Kubrick fan.
