I had most of the original Blu-Ray releases of Kubrick's films and loved all the special features within each disc. This full box set has the same features per disc, plus it includes the Kubrick: A Life in Pictures narrated by Tom Cruise. I only had found that particular documentary on DVD, so it was a welcome bonus in this box set.

This is a really nice set--especially the packaging--but I was a bit disappointed it didn't include his earlier films. Also, the Blu-ray copy of 2001 had some really awful parts where you could plainly see scratches, dust spots, and other flaws in the freeze-frames they had made of some of the static scenes.

I purchased this set for a friend of mine who is a HUGE Kubrick fan. She absolutely loved it, and enjoys watching these classics in remastered HD form.

I've seen other collections in the past and kept holding off because they didn't seem quite right. However, this is an awesome and great collection for Kubrick fans! I has eight of his movies, one documentary, one bonus feature, a small book with pictures and blueprints, a drawing of Kubrick from his daughter, and a insert card. These are limited copies so I would definitely recommend the purchase.
