This was a great movie. Just as good or better than the first two. Blue ray quality was great!

Kirk & Spock are tempted to go separate Ways & are then asked to go on a 'Rescue Mission'. On the Mission they are ambushed, the Enterprise is Destroyed the Crew scattered. Most are captured, but Kirk & 'Gang' are lost on the Hostile Planet until they meet a 'Native' living in a 'Lost' Federation ship. A plan is devised to rescue the rest of the crew. With the crew rescued the Bonds of the Crew are Reinforced as a New Enterprise is built....

This played perfectly in my mother's blue ray player, which was a relief as it can be touchy.

3d is the way to watch any syfi movies very entertaining

With this being the third movie in the series I was a little concerned that it would get stale but it's not. It's another good Star Trek movie.
