This new Star Trek film was very reminiscent of the 60s series in terms of story. It was still very entertaining and fun to watch.

Nicely done continuation of a story from the alternative inverse perspective. Future stories can be continued w/o ending the saga.

My granddaughter is a Star Trek buff. She loves the TV show and wanted to have a movie to keep watching. This was a great choice.
