It is a refreshing take on the Startrek world. I did not watch it on tv as they wanted to charge a monthly fee to watcn. So I waited for it on Blu-ray so I can binge watch it. Now waiting for season 2.

I've seen every episode of Star Trek from the beginning! This series is no different, and maybe even better. Looking forward to every upcoming episode and series as long as they're making them!!

I bought this for my husband who is a huge star trek fan as a late Christmas present. we enjoyed watching this season one. it was a good plot line and story. I will be buying the next season too.

It's like watching this series with all new eyes. The blu-ray treatment is a sumptuous feast for the sensations. Crystal clear audio. Beautiful scenery. This Trek series is a fest for the fans.

They brought Star Trek back if your not sure if you like season 1 season 2 is even better! So far its a good story and a little bit crazy but good! Give it a chance its Cool too!!!

Took a chance buying this, DID NOT want to subscribe to CBS just to watch one show. So far it’s really good. Season one is amazing and I’m patiently waiting for the season two release.

Always been a Trekkie. I understand why some hardcore fans are hating Discovery but it has enough science behind the action to keep you hooked. Aesthetically looks like JJ Abrams reboot.

I bought season 1 of Star Trek Discovery Blu-ray for less than what I would have paid for the CBS All Access service. I might add, I won't have to watch any commercials either. Any questions?

I heard Star Trek Discovery was good, but I did not want CBS All Access. The Blue Ray quality is excellent and the storyline so far is good.

This season of Star Trek Discovery feels like an episodic movie, continuing to develop the characters throughout and the special effects are great. Looking forward to season 2.

My brother is a big sci-fi fan and have always been able to find the movies that he loves at Best Buy. They have very reasonable prices for these movies also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

heard and read a lot of different opinions on this series, enjoyed it more than I expected good storyline good special effects....but would I pay a subscription fee to cbs ...ah no.

This series was surprisingly interesting and engaging. The effects were outstanding. Some of the differences from the previous series were a little hard to adjust to. Timeline in the Star Trek Universe is a little confusing.

Surprisingly very good. Still personally like the original with Kirk and Spock and Star Trek Voyager are the best but this was well done with a good story and great action.

A new gem in the world of Star Trek. Episodes worthy of the gold standard futuristic vision created by Mr Trek himself, Gene Roddenberry. A real Discovery Hit.

Star Trek fans will not be disappointed in this series. Sticking to a true Star Trek adventure its safe to say this is one of my favorites out of the series.

Wonderful series I've been wanting to get this for a while. I always forgot about it thankfully best buy has a large selection of DVDs. Loved this purchase.

It kept you guessing as to direction and where it belonged in the ST Universe until the end, and the twists will keep you interested in what happens next.

I've been a Star Trek fan for years. This show is a new fresh look on the show. I'm excited to watch this and see how they tie it into the later shows.

Good Show. Good price. Enjoyed a lot. Too bad Season 2 wasn't available at the time and price. Cheaper than a ssubscription to CBS All Access.
