the wrath of kahn RESTORATION is excellent ! colors have been improved and their is a noticeable improvements Rumor has it that the Star trek movies WILL BE BR OUGHT out in 4 K in the near future.

The original Wrath of Khan was so intense at the time and to see the remake with Cumberbatch.......he did a great job and they made a good choice with him as Khan!! Have them Both!!!

Excellent PQ/AQ on arguably the best Star Trek movie's director's cut. When released this disc had an editing error early in the film. That issue had been remedied on the copy I purchased.

I'm very glad the powers that be have finally decided to release an HD version of the best Trek movie. This release makes for the best 50th-anniversary celebration of Star Trek of the year.

This is a steelbook that is long overdue. A great, iconic film that looks beautiful in this blu-ray version, too. The artwork is of the original poster, which I always loved. Though, I wish there were some embossing/debossing somewhere to give it depth, it's still a must-have for any fan of this film. Especially if you're a steelbook/movie collector.

So many films from the past are fondly remembered- and often referenced as classics- but more often than not nostalgia is speaking louder than quality. Not the case here. Requisite SciFi fare.

Probably the greatest Star Trek of them all! Great looking blu-ray transfer! The director's cut is only about 3 minutes longer, but it's a really good 3 minutes! A must for Trek fans!

Still the best Star Trek movie, this one has it all. The effects actually hold up reasonably well and the plot has all the dramatics and tension you could wish for. It's great.

I never saw the directors cut of the film before, but it really added an extra kick to it. Lots of great extras, that realy make this a worthwhile re-purchase.

I'm not much of a Trekkie. But this film transcends all that and is just a well written, well performed Sci fi adventure with an incredibly surprising emotional climax!

Easily the best of the 13 Star Trek films, the new transfer looks great. I previously only had the Director's Edition DVD, so it's nice to have both versions in HD now.

I bought this steelbook at the store. steelbook has matte finish and blu-ray disc played flawlessly. Awesome buying experience.

When this movie was out in the theatres I saw it over 100x and I can tell you that it's still as wonderful then as now

This is a great movie with interesting characters and superb story. The soundtrack is great as well.

This was so good back when it was made and the new one with Cumberbach as Kahn was just great too.......glad Nimoy got to be in the new ones..........

As a feature film, The Wrath of Khan still stands tall as not just a Star Trek movie, but is a film that features a taut script, including plenty of action, suspense, and many surprises. This is a very entertaining movie, and is the best example of the original Star Trek series was, and remains, so popular. Highly recommended.

By far the best film in the Star Trek movie universe! Amazing action and story that will leave you wanted more time on the Enterprise after the movie has ended!

This is the best of the best! Fantastic performances, great direction and action!! It's a classic film with lots of quotable lines, and is just a great film!!

Much better transfer than the previously-released disc, this is the one to get. The Director's Cut ties some loose ends together. An essential release.

I grew up with the TV version of this movie, that included a lot of dialog that isn't in other DVD and Bluray versions. This version puts it all back.
