Star Trek III is an old classic Star Trek movie. I have the old DVD and the 4K update is way better

Worth upgrading to 4k yes, these are all great to have on disc

I'll admit I'm not a big fan of Search for Spock- there's not a consistent tone that grabs hold, making the more poignant moments fall flat. Unfortunately, it also has an incredibly cheap look compared to the Star Trek movies surrounding it on the timeline. The picture and sound quality of this 4K release are good but not great, perhaps owing the original elements. Recommended only if you're a fan already.

I watched this at the cinema as an excited 12yr old. And loved it..I watched it again as a 48yr old and again..loved it.. It's just a joy to view a star trek film with so many practical visuals. And to see characters that have been so well fleshed out and carefully considered compared to the latest trek stuff..

A good viewing of StarTrek 3 a search for Spock & good copy that I received of it on StarTrek 3. It was a good follow up to StarTrek 2 wrath of Khan & continued the story of Spock’s journey after he died saving the Enterprise in the wrath of Khan.

Good movie. Already have the DVD box set. I just been slowly upgrading to the 4k versions. I originally purchased a 6 disc box set. But at least one of the discs was defective and had to return and exchange for individual discs instead

Actually my second most favorite Star Trek movie. All actors get their moment to shine. Christopher Lloyd is really good as Klingon captain. Good action and acting. If somehow you have never watched this Star Trek movie, treat yourself.

I wanted the original cover art. The movie is a classic. It is engaging, heart wrenching, and thrilling. It has the same great 4k transfer as the box set. A must own.

Might be a hot take, but this is one of my favorite Star Trek films. Captain Kirk tricking the Klingons onto the Enterprise is the best scene.

An awesome completion to the trilogy that started with Star Trek 2:The Wrath of Khan! Christopher Lloyd is magnificent as the villain!

I’m a Star Trek fan but to see this movie in 4K HD is beautiful, 80% of my DVD’s are 4K now and I just love the picture.

The 4k and blu-ray quality are excellent. The best way to experience this film. And it is a great Star Trek film.

This is the way older movies should look when made in 4k. The picture is great, but the sound could be a little better.

Underrated classic. As the middle of the Genesis Trilogy, it gets undeservedly over looked between II and IV.

Star trek classic, new HD picture was excellent. Can't wait to watch entire movie series in HD.

ST 3 is good don’t get me wrong but it is tge weaker one in the series. It has some awesome moments.
