USS Enterprise is decommissioned.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After setting the bar pretty high with "Wrath of Kahn", this film starts out with the final scenes from that film, and then the Enterprise returns, with its crew to Earth. There life isn't as easy as hoped for by the crew members, and the Enterprise is decommissioned as a member of Starfleet. Spock's father confronts Kirk and says that there is evidence there is a life-form on the man-made Genesis planet. Having to battle Klingons and 'steal' the Enterprise, Kirk and his crew head for Planet Genesis to find out what is there.

A classic with clean picture and sound.

This has a clean picture with great surround. I will have Star Trek 1,2,3,and 4 once the first one is released next month. These are some of the best scifi ever made.

Great follow-up to Star Trek II

Entire movie culminates with the return of Spock (couldn't keep him dead). It also has a ton of extras about the making of the film. Very interesting. Is in Blu-ray - Picture and sound are great.

Silly story!

A must have for every Star Trek fan!
