So far there hasn't been a single episode in this package I haven't enjoyed watching, and I am still watching the fifth disc out of six Blu-ray discs. The picture quality on the Blu-ray discs continue to be excellent, a better picture quality than I had seen on my standard television set back when the series was still being filmed. The only thing I'm still disappointed with, and I have been disappointed with this shortcoming ever since I bought the Third Season Blu-rays, was the episodes had not been filmed in the "HDTV" widescreen dimensions.

Huge Star Trek Next Gen fan! Had to add it to my collection!

Star Trek is easily my favorite show, and this sixth season of Next Generation contains two excellent 2-part episodes (Chain of Command and Birthright). It also begins and ends with two other 2-part episodes (Time's Arrow and Descent), since TNG heavily relied on cliff-hangers to torture its audience during its summer hiatus. The double episodes also seemed to tell grander tales and had bigger budgets, so they were actually more like movies. This blu-ray rendition makes the DVD version pale by comparison, and my VHS collection is now a joke. Blu-ray is the only-way I'll ever watch Star Trek again!

The HD presentation has been excellent in the past season Bluray editions and this season continues to show the colors and clarity well. You have to appreciate the era the series was originally created to air in since a lot of the alien make up and set design was built to show on a lower resolution screen to look past that detail shows more of the imperfections with the improved picture quality. All the DVD extras are include, and the new features help to reflect on some of the background stories going on during the production. Watching the stories you get a sense that this was a golden peice of TV history.

As a lifelong Star Trek fan and as a devotee of the Next Generation series in particular, I can wholeheartedly recommend the 6th season of TNG (as they call it among fans). All the cast members give outstanding performances and we gett some special guesats as well, including James Doohan and the return of John De Lancie as the mischievous "Q" A must have for any Trekkie. As Jean Luc Picard would say "Make it So".....

In its sixth season, TNG continued its strong storytelling with a number of popular and classic episodes from start to cliffhanger finish. This set continues to great job Paramount has done with remastered effects versions as well as original archive episodes. The previous special features carry over, along with new material.

Star Trek The Next Generation is an AWESOME television series and this particular season is no exception!! I enjoy watching this over and over again. Also, the price was absolutely great......Never thought I could get a full season for such a great price!! Thank You Best Buy!

I've been buying this series as it's been coming out. The first season there were some mistakes on the episodes but since then they've cleared that all up. And the extras they've been having are great, especially for huge Trek fans. My only sad point is remembering how bad the later seasons are over all. There are some gems in there but they're surrounded by some that are a struggle just to watch. But over all, if you're a fan this is the best set that the series has been released as. Pick them all up!

"Face of the Enemy" along with "Timescape" were probably some of the best Romulan episodes in the entire series. I would recommend Season 6 to anyone who wants to see just how great TNG really was. Only classics!!!! Highly recommended!!!

I like Star Trek The Next Generation season 6. I'm now waiting on season 7. Season 6 was great. The show was remastered and worth watching. I hope Star Trek fans will get this.

In Short: The actors are alive, and ENGAGEd:) The picture is perfect. Know about the 4:3 aspect ratio as an issue. If 4:3 is good for you it will be great.. The writing is excellent, works well with these actors.

CBS digital continues painstaking task of remastering TNG. It looks awesome. Now when watching it, it looks more like a high def movie and not a tv show. DTS Master audio sounds great also.

The last season, as Trekkies already know, was good, almost great. I rate it as my favorite, but it does have some strange moments as it tries to wrap up story lines and set up DS9. The extras on this seasons disks are actually informative if a bit long. If you're a Star Trek fan, you already own this. If you're not, this is probably one of the better seasons to buy.

This is a great season of TNG. One of the best out of the seven season run. The Remaster is fantastic, Great new special features, Plus I love the Gag reel, I wish there was more!

I know Star Trek is on TV syndication and you can always watch what TV broadcast has to offer, but in comparison to blu-Ray. There is no match. The remaster is really good in every way. 4 stars only because not wide screen, but still worth your library...I was a bit skeptical but now am pleased with the results. I would recommend this purchase...

I was so happy when they released this TNG series on Blu-ray. I liked most of the episodes, but it was getting painful to watch them from the old standard def DVDs.

The STAR TREK THE NEXT GENERATION remastering team has done their usual great work, a safe buy for anyone interested in the show, and a huge upgrade from the DVD.

If you watched Star Trek on TV you will LOVE it in Blu-ray. Slipcover is a plus....add this to your collection.

Great new visual depths, enhanced special effects in a unforgettable episodes that will take them to strange new worlds. High-definition and action packed.

By this point in the series you either like or have stopped watching the show. The picture quality and sound quality of the blu ray are excelent.
