While most don't like this movie, i always have and paramount did an excellent job with the conversion. Excellent picture and sound quality.

A very nice transfer to 4K of the director’s cut previously only available on standard def DVD. The-edited and with added scenes and special effects.

This was a Great movie when it originally came out and now that it is the director's cut and in 4k format, it is even better to watch!

Say what you wanna say about the film itself but as a Dolby experience it’s one of the best and best blu ray to 4k upgrades to date!

Stunning remaster, color and sound are beautiful. Some perfectionist have issues with color saturations but no issues here.

If you're a fan of this movie, this is the version you're waiting for. The added scenes really make the movie come together.

This first Star Trek movie on 4K BD is a must have.

Disc is defective. All kinds of noise in the picture which got worse further in you went, Sound was cutting out, going out of sync constantly. Played on a new Panasonic 820 DVD player. Other similar discs played fine. Unfortunately, now stuck with a defective DVD since didn't get to try it out right away.

Great transfer of the return of TOS. Solid HDR. Restored sound with modern assistance from DTS is incredible.

We finally get the director's cut on 4k. Great film, the restoration is incredible. Arrived a couple days late, but glad to say it was worth the wait

Kept checking the site since these were announced. They had all the other Star Trek 4k’s but this one I never found on the website. Then it pops up a couple days before the release date and says “Sold Out.” Went to the store the day they dropped and they had all of them but this one. BB is a HORRIBLE place to buy movies. Most of the stores don’t even carry movies anymore. Which makes ZERO sense given 4K blurays sold more this year than ever. Can’t rely on BB anymore. Been a longtime Elite + member but I prob will look elsewhere from now on. BB has gone WAY downhill over the last few years. They might aswell just close their stores and become an online retailer.

It barely came out a few days ago & already it's soldout???!!!! This demonstrates one of 2 things. Paramount Studios (home video department) greatly underestimated demand for this product or Best Buy was incompetent in acquiring more. I choose the latter.

Barnes and Noble has in stock for same price shame BB was sold out before it hit the shelf.
