The picture is awesome. One of best transfer to 4K resolution that I seen. All of the Star Trek movies look pretty good. Am glade they include a digital copy too. The only thing with it being Paramount you have to choose between either Apple TV or Vudu, but it still cool. Comes as 4K as a digital copy too.

The worst Trek madebut still worth owning as they wont get another reprint.

Great Picture, Great Sound, And Great Movies what else could you ask for?

is there a review about the actual disc picture and sound quality, not the plot of the film itself as there are many people that like it as well as those who despise it. The 4K disc presentation is remastered from its original negatives in the color and picture quality is excellent. The audio is good, haven't been released in Dolby Digital 7.1 surround sound however I believe I would've given this 5 stars if they would've released this and the other titles in full Dolby Atmos. This film, marks the return of Jerry Goldsmith and features his original opening theme soundtrack from the original motion picture. For some reason, only the original motion picture got the Dolby Atmos treatment, that aside it still sounds great in Dolby. The extras are unfortunately identical to the extras that were featured on the 2009 release bluray disc. But I was hoping that the rumored directors cut by Shatner was included on this disk you will be disappointed, as an official director cut does not seem to exist at this point.

The final frontier is the continuing story of Captain Kirk & his crew as they deal with the final frontier that maybe holds God himself which was envisioned by an emotionally passionate Vulcan from Spock’s past named Sybock who takes the Enterprise hostage so he can get into through the great barrier so he can meet God. Mix an Klingon Captain who wants Captain Kirk dead & so much needed ironic humor & you got a interesting movie.

So happy I now own these on 4K. Definitely not a money-grab by Paramount. They put a lot of love into these transfers and Final Frontier is no exception. Crisp, natural imagery, it’s like watching it again for the first time! Very satisfied with the purchase. Now if only I can find the Directors Cut of TMP in 4K…

I know, I know. Star Trek 5 is considered one of the lesser recognized sequels, but I like it as a guilty pleasure with it's light hearted approach no preachy messages. It's like taking a break from the previous Star Trek film. Everything looks good here in 4k, and the audio is phenomenal.

While not the strongest film from the original series, it still gets some love with this nice looking release. The slip cover is amazing. I still cant give this film 5 stars because i still feel the film itself doesn’t warrant a pervert score.

I'm giving this a five-star rating for the quality of the disc and special features, not necessarily the movie itself. Star Trek V on 4K helps complete the collection, and I do love revisiting this film from time to time.

ST v gets alot of hate but it’s actually a great movie. my only wish is that paramount would let william shatner go back and let him finish the movie he wanted to make. the rock monsters really need to be seen.

It is a "good movie", well, no. Is a warm feeling of nostalgia, and simpler, flawed action sci-fi with crude model effects? Yes, for sure. And this bluray looks great.

Better Times for Space Travel. If You want to spend great adventures Star Trek is the One Franchise for You. Best Buy Has it All now in 4K.

Not the best Star Trek and not the film the Shat wanted to make. overall as far as 4K video and audio ,better then the 1080P blu-ray.

Everyone knows that this is the worst star trek movie ever, but it completes the set of all original star trek movies on 4k.

Another great movie for any trekkie especially in 4K and especially for the price they must have for any trekkie.

I enjoyed this one. Felt like the cast really hit their stride. The search for God was a great concept.
