Voyager is a different twist than the traditional steel series. The writers did an excellent job with the different stories which makes each episode unique but cohesive to the bigger story

I never got to see a single episode of this series but I'm a fan of all the other Star Trek series'.....Interesting with all the new characters and a few guest spots from Q & Will R.....

This series follows the Starship Voyager as it makes its way from the other side of the Galaxy, 70,00 light years away, to home. Star Trek: Voyager does an excellent job of showing what you do against incredible odds, you do what you need to do to get the job done. It starts of with a Starfleet crew and a crew of rengades having to work together to overcome almost insurmountable odds. As things progress, the tension between the crews dimishes and they work together more comfortable, this theme of redemption continues throughout the series. Voyager also boasts more action than most Trek series. There are more space battles and more action scenes than in Voyager's illustrious pre-decessors. Most of the adversaries are new alien races, but the Borg shows up in later seasons. All of the action scenes are exciting to watch thanks to Voyager's fine visual effects. In the latter seasons, Voyager tells some of the best stories in the history of Star Trek, but the first couple seasons are hit and miss. There are a lot of good episodes in all seasons, but the first two seasons also have a few not so good episodes. But once Voyager hits its stride, it goes at warp speed! Cool visual effects, lots of action, a new cast of alien races and some very well-thought out character development makes for an outstanding series. You'll be glad you signed on for this Voyage.

The Voyager series wonderful, an all time classic. No matter how long ago you watched the episodes and what you remember you will enjoy every minute of it. You will see things that you dont recall. You will become apart of their lives and look forward to each new DVD. If you have never sent any of the series and you enjoy SIFY or futurist programs you will think Voyager is better than any of the other Star Trek series. I love it. However the plastic cases for the DVDs are very thin. They can be broken easily so be careful. But dont let this stop you from getting the set. The set comes in individual boxes for each season and that I really like. Other Star Trek series comes in one big box and it is hard to know when one season stops and another one starts. Enjoy.

Having been a fan of the show ( I never missed an episode even if I had to tape it) this is a FANTASTIC product!! I had the set in VHS format but that is long gone. I most highly recommend it to any Trekker, Trekkie or recently initiated.

Need to get the entire series to appreciate the ending. Nice bundle and very good price. Can have your own Voyager marathon.
