This game is a perfect example of how to create a superb sequel game. Battlefront II exceeds the expectations of what the first game laid down. We revisit old maps like the classic Hoth board and take on new ones as well, like the Wookie homeworld. Also, you can combat in space around two giant ships pulling out maneuvers like backflips, barrel rolls, and 180 turns. Man the guns, join a boarding party, or just take the wheel, the space battles leave limitless options for any style of gameplay. Battlefront II also utilizes a ranking feature where you can work up to become Legendary in a selected field. By achieving this rank, you recieve upgraded weapons like a stronger Beam Rifle for the marksman or Remote Guided Rockets for the demolition crew. The fight on the ground takes over a new look. The graphics are enchanced and the bots are also smarter. If you're good enough, you can command a certain number of teammates to do as you wish, whether it be to follow you or advance into the battle. The shooting aspect of this game is well done too. The HUD is easy to read and easy to understand. If you want, you can enable Heros to enter the game through the options menu before you start the game. This option allows a certain character to join your team, and depending how you're doing, you may play them as well. From Yoda to Chewie and Darth to Han, there are many more guest appearances throughout the game. The campaign is great and is interesting as well. This game is a smart purchase for any Star Wars fanatic and is also a smart choice to anyone new to the franchise. This game hits all the right points and earns itself 5 stars hands down. This game is simply fantastic and can be enjoyed by all.

This game is one of the best games I've played, giving you at least 30 hours of gameplay and even more just with your friends or replaying the game. The shooting is fun, the capturing or command posts better, and best of all the getting into AT - AT's and shooting everyone in sight without a second thought. Also the jedi's are amazing with the saber life and the different force powers you can get from each one. This is definetely worth buying so don't wait!

This game is great if you liked the first you will love this one it is worth getting even if you have the first instalment the campain is much more in depth and interesting with objectives other than just winning a battle there are many more maps for a better expereance and the galactic conquest takes on a more strtegacal side and when you get good enough at it you can ajust the AI level to continue the fun and chalange the game has to offer

This game is all you could expect and more. Stawars Battlefront 2 has many new modes where you can play as creatures from the game such as wampas and ewoks. The maps are huge and the vehicles are fun. It's a pretty long campaine and it has galactic conquest and instant action. If you are a starwars fan or just like shooter, then this game is for you.

Honestly, I gave this game a 5 for one reason....ITS SWEET. The levels are outstanding and so is the A.I. The concept of choosing sides and classes is amazing. The gameplay is so fun you will be addicted imediatly. Probably the best Star Wars game ever created. An absolute must buy for any ps2 owner!

This game is amazing fun. If you liked the 1st SWBF you will love this one. The game play is spectacular with so many characters to choose from. The campaign is so much fun, especially if your doing it with a friend and the new space battles are awesome. I highly recommend you get this game.

This game never gets old. I bought it in '05 and it's still keeping me captivated. The campaign mode is excellent and takes a while to beat. Playing at the Mos Eisley map, you can have a battle between all of the heroes and villains. The space battles are a great feature, and the ships are very easy to control. But for me, what really makes this game great is the multiplayer- there's always a ton of people on the PSN (Playstation Network), and with a headset, it's even more fun. Even non-Star Wars fans (like me) will enjoy this. Great price, great game!

I think that this is the best game I have for Playstation 2. I really like being able to play as a jedi. The new maps are cool too. I really like that they still used some of the old maps too. The new vehicles are awesome and the new units all have unique abilities. If you are into shooters and into starwars games, this is the game you want. The price has also dropped a lot since it was first realeased. That makes this game even better.

Star Wars Bttlefront 2 is a good game. Great vehicles,weapons,levels,and characters.Bad thing I don't like about this game is that you can't customize or create your own characters and weapon set overall great game

I use this game for multi player most of the time. Because it is fun by yourself but it is even more fun with a friend. You can cover each other or take on the whole galaxy with just 2 people. I have played this game a ton and its still fun.

this is a really good game, i have started playing it more and more..... first off i love shooting games, i have all of the medal of honor games for ps2, in the collection form, i play these games a lot together, this also has very good graphics compared to some other ps2 games.....

If you are a Star Wars fan, you MUST have this game. The graphics are amazing. The style of the game is very addicting: just like the first Battlefront, you fight along side your legion in hopes of eliminating the enemy or capturing all command posts. Also, this is a very fun game with the multiplayer feature.

This is an almost one-of a-kind game where there is an entire army in a huge place where you are one of the troops. It has so many AI bots in the battle that it is almost incomprehensable. The game is very engaging online. It is a good buy if you like the above this is a good buy for you.

This is a game that i thought was not to great according to the reviews i read on it. But i went out and bought this game and i haven't stopped playing it since i got it. This is a great game for multi player and by yourself but it is really fun when you play against your friends.

This is a great Star Wars game. You can either play the story line, conquer your own planets, or play instant action. Also split screen so you can play with a friend. Game offers almost every character and you get to choose the jedi or the dark side. Great game.

If you havent already read my reviews I am Shootergamerguy! I have spent most of my time playing and watching military videogames and movies. But Action Adventure games also include awesome franchises such as Star Wars Battlefront 2. Battlefront 2 is a good way to spend your allowance or paycheck. I bought this game right when it hit the markets but I still played it for like three years tops. The instant action play lets you play the levels over and over which helps you to get your moneys worth out of a video game. Battlefront has bassically made it's name in the history books along with SOCOM and HALO. If you only have a couple bucks to spare until your next birthday or Christmas money I would reccommend Star Wars Battlefront 2. check out my other reviews!!!

This game is fun for all ages, it is fun for people who don't like star wars aswell. Because it is kinda like battlefield. This game features jedis and space battles, it is a fun filled game.

This is a great all around game. It has a really good co-op multiplayer experience. It is a good game to play with your friends and it makes a great gift. I play it almost every day.
