I bought the game so I could play the campaign and am glad I did. There is a mix of different levels and characters you get to play. You get to play as Iden Versio the leader of Inferno Squad for the majority of the game. There are other levels where you get to play as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, & even Kylo Ren. Mix of level types such as moving towards an objective while fighting through enemies, stealth levels, Flying X-Wings, Tie Fighters, Millennium Falcon driving AT-ATs & AT-STs. It took me about 10 hours to beat the campaign dying only a few times. I haven't played the multiplayer part of it but is not the reason I bought it. Overall I enjoyed the game and recommend others especially star wars fans to check it out.

I don't consider myself a gamer but I am a SW fan and bought this despite EA's terrible practices on microtransactions and loot boxes. The graphics engine on this game are incredible and this could have been a great game - unfortunately, the campaign is too short (even on the hardest difficultly) and doesn't make any sense (terrible character arch) and of course, the extremely frustrating progression system that was essentially gambling and robbery. It has OK replay value but given the chance, I'd probably not purchase this and rent it instead

I love this game. It is a well rounded fun space shooter. The campaign is short but pretty good. More missions are coming in future DLCs though. The graphics are amazing and the multiplayer is massive.

I have been a fan of this series since the original game. This is a beautiful game, amazing graphics, the campaign is challenging and the multiplayer has a lot that you can do.

Bought it because I read that this one has a single player campaign mode. Unlike the first one which was pretty much useless unless you wanted multiplayer. This one is much better but still no real storyline just do a bunch of shooting and move on to next shooting task. Not very well thought out. Does have great graphics and gameplay. However it’s Lacking a soul, hard to get interested.

The campaign is excellent even if the ending was anti-climatic. MP is excellent. Controls and graphics are great

I haven't had a chance to play much online so this will only be for the single player campaign. The story is pretty good. Better than most. I'm having a lot of fun with it. The levels are pretty varied and keep my attention. Graphics are really nice on 4k TV. I would recommend it. It's getting a bad rap from the online community. I understand but I'm not paying for any microtransactions not playing much online so their complaints don't really affect me.

For the hardcore gamer the new Battlefront is an amazing game, for the average gamer it is a little more challenging. I wish they would put one version of the game so that everyone plays at the same level. Having a special trooper edition which you pay more for so you have better weapons and stamina is in my mind cheating. The graphics are amazing on the game. Having a campaign mode is really sweet. It’s a great game overall!!

The game is a lot of fun. Campaign was a good addition to the canon and a fun play through. Arcade mode is fun to play around in. Multiplayer is great, fun maps, and unbelievable visuals. Of course, the micro transaction issues are well-known and star cards definitely give people an advantage which can make it difficult. But, the game is still a lot of fun in all aspects. Despite the bad press, I am happy with the purchase.

The core game to Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a huge improvement from the first one. However the progression system for the multiplayer component relies on unlocking ability/star cards in loot boxes, which is just awful. Loot boxes should really only be used on cosmetics/skins, not actual in game abilities.

Battlefront 2 is a great upgrade from the first Battlefront game with the graphics and playable characters. The removal of more options to play co-op locally was kind of a disappointment, but the single-player is a blast. Played it with my 6-year-old nephew and he had a blast.

I have not played the multiplayer, I have PUBG for that. To me, this is a way to play a new movie, following new characters (with some nice cameos here and there), in a time period that is unexplored in the movies. It good at what it is, a linear, story-based campaign with some great moments, sprinkled in with some typical shooter-gameplay.

The campaign is short and not very memorable but is better than nothing i guess. The multiplayer is phenomenal though. The only issue is the star card based progression system which requires you to buy packs either with in game currency or actual money. The star cards give attribute bonuses for your classes and give you an edge in battle

I thoroughly enjoyed the campaign just finishing it recently. Yeah i'm slow my nephew beat it 2 weeks before me. The story line is solid n has moments that make you want to continue even if you've played for several hours just to see what's next. I am not an online player somI can't honetly comment on that feature but with solid controls n better flight controls I look forward to Battlefront3 n hope its campaign is longer. Like other games my one gripe about the new generation is the god awful load times. With seemingly full downloada (yes I could be wrong) you think load times would take seconds not minutes if not longer. Plus constant updates. Developers please trynto getnyour games finished before launch. Nothing more infuriating than to put a brand new game in n be told a updated is required and you will have to wait hours before you can play. Or step away from a game for 3-4mdays n have the update requirement pop up again n you can't play said game without the update.

I was only a few minutes into my EA Access trial & I was blown away. If you thought part 1 was easy on the eyes then with part 2 you are in for an even better surprise. Not to mention that I'm playing this on the xbox one x & they've also added a single player campaign this time around. It plays so good. AMAZING!

The graphics and general atmosphere of this game is just amazing. They do a great job of making you feel like you are in the starwars universe. It's a 4 star because the progression system is extremely slow and confusing, and there are several bugs encountered throughout the multiplayer. Overall great game!

The graphics are much improved over the original. It takes some time to get used to the new controls and setup and there continues to be long load times. Still, if you're looking for a great star wars experience and want to hop into your x-wing and take on those imperials this is the game for you.

Loved game, felt like a very refined version from the original battlefront 2. I prefer to play local multiplayer and campaigns which i wish was a little better. In the original they had far more locations. Also would love for it to allow for more people on a map at the same time. But overall still an incredible game, beautiful graphics, just hope for more maps with updates.
