The Clone Wars story is exceptional and a great addition to the Star Wars cannon. The first three seasons are definitely more kid-friendly, but the themes and story becomes much more adult the final couple of seasons. Sadly, that's also when the really excellent extra features disappear from the set as well - which is sad as the features from the early seasons are great. The voiceover work is top-notch and you forget just a few episodes in that the primary cast are not the real actors from the films, however there are a few pleasant surprises and cameos. As mentioned above, this series was cancelled and this is (at the time Feb, 2014) the only way to collect the entire set. However, Season 6 has been announced and will eventually be released, but there is no indication if it will be out on its own or if Disney will double-dip and release another complete edition with it added on. With that caveat in mind, I still highly recommend this set and then just buying Season 6 when it's eventually released, unless you are a completionist.

Wasn't sure how I'd like this show, especially since it appeared to be marketed towards a younger audience. The first season started off a bit slow and did seem to carefully balance itself between being a show for adult fans and catering to it's new, younger fan base. This didn't last long as the series began pushing its limits each and every show. As a fan of the new trilogy (not a fair weather fan), I feel this show not only did justice to Star Wars, but in particular ways, became far superior to the original trilogy. That is a monumental statement but is justified by a deeper story, more involved character development and the introduction of characters we've never seen in any of the movies (cannon). This blu-ray collection is stellar and I enjoyed watching both the episodes and the extras. So much packed in the collectors edition, you'll enjoy it for hours... Well, actually days. Definitely a must buy for REAL Star Wars fans. Eric

It's not a complete set. It doesn't have the pilot episode. When the package arrived and I opened it up one of the holders inside of the case was broken and a disc was sliding around loose. luckily it did not scratch the disc. I've watched the set twice now, and no issues other than some of the episodes feel like they're out of place not in order. still not a bad buy.

I was able to pick this up on sale and also used a GC I received as a Christmas gift! Overall the blu ray version looks awesome! The box art is superb and love how the box cover stays shut with an internal magnet! There is also an episode guide which describes all the episodes and an added book with art! The only con I have about the set, and it's me being picky is the cover box is about an inch bigger than the actual blu ray case! The book art fits perfectly inside and so does the episode guide! The blu ray case is held snug with a piece of styrofoam! I guess the set is made for the DVD version! It's just me being picky cause the case stands taller than the rest of my blu ray collection! Overall it is a fantastic set!

Until The Force Awakens I only had the movies Chapter 1-6 on plain DVD. I got kinda obsessed, and started collecting every series of Star Wars related shows I can find. This show is GREAT. I always felt the Clone Wars in the Star Wars movie was too short, you really didn't see much of the WAR. This series really fills in the missing stories. And the Blu-ray look wonderful on a big tv. I could even recommend this to fans of war films as it's a great war story, only set in space. If you buy this, don't forget to buy THE LOST MISSIONS which is a stand alone disc that was released after the seasons 1-5.

My son received the first season for x-mas from his grand parents. They included a gift receipt so when I saw this online as a complete pack. I was able to return the unopened first season to another retailer and buy this at Best buy. They also price matched a online price for it which save us about $45.00. I also spend over $100 and received a $15 gift card during the yellow tag event. All said I was able to get my son all 5 seasons for less than $30 after taking back the first season and all the other discounts added together.

The only thing that would make this collection even better would have been to add the 'season 6' episodes. guess will get those eventually on blu. Excellent set. Hope Ahsoka lives on in one form or another which should eventually (and tragically) lead to crossing paths (and sabers) with Anakin.

This is by far a must have for any Staw Wars fan! Period!!!!!!!!! If you loved​ the Clone Wars movie then you'll love this collection, this series continues the movie in great detail. It show what happens before the third movie in full Blu-ray and DTS HD and Dolby Digital.

I grew up watching the original trilogy and I love this series. This is way better than the first Clone Wars cartoon that came out on Cartoon Network a few years back. A good addition to any Star Wars fans collection.

I love this show for so many reasons. This set does a great job of collecting not just the Clone Wars episodes for seasons 1-5, but also providing extras, such as directors cuts of episodes and a great art book, all in a high quality case.

This set is the only American release of the Clone Wars complete series. It contains seasons 1-5 (the best seasons IMO) and never ceases to impress. The set is gloriously embossed and contains loads of special features all on blu ray.

The Clone Wars is required viewing for any Star wars fans. The Blu-Ray package itself is also really well put together with an included art book and episode guide.

Besides giving you all the episodes of the first five seasons, this set provides a wealth of bonus features including deleted scenes, animatics, and art.

Great set of DVDs, really good production values. I wonder if they will include season 6 in a new box set in the future?

Executive Producer George Lucas and Lucasfilm did an outstanding job presenting the events between Star Wars Episode 3 and 4. All five seasons are here for you to enjoy.

If you own the movies and watch the animated series, this collectors edition should be on your radar. A must have for fans of the series!

This show makes the prequel movies much more palatable. Does the Star Wars canon justice. Great special features and hours of enjoyment!
