Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Death Star Pro Galaxy Projector as a great night light for children, praising its rotation feature which simulates the night sky. However, some customers find the projector expensive considering the limited number of slides and the less-than-perfect image quality. The lack of clearly labeled constellations on one of the slides was also noted as a potential area for improvement.

I bought item for my Son from Best Buy through Deal of the Day! He was in awe when we put it on at night in his room! I was in awe and wanted to buy one for our master, but wife said no :( . The only issue that I have is the following. I wish it came with more disc to display different other pictures. I would also be willing to buy others, but I do not think that there any other disc. The item is worth as a discount, not regular price. But it's an amazing night light that does move!

The item is smaller then expected prior to actually purchasing the item. However, it serves as a great projector/night light for my son. It has a timer for either 30 or 60 minutes so you can use it as a night light that will shut off. The map of the Star Wars galaxy is informative when you want to have an idea of where the places and planets are in the universe. The constellation chart of our own galaxy would of been better served with having names on it versus just a blank map. The Death Star scene is great, my son enjoys it the most especially since you can have it rotate around the scene in a circle.

    4 Death Stars

I'm biased. I'm a Star Wars fan. It looks cool just to have a Death Star sitting on your shelf even if you don't turn it on. I definitely would not suggest paying full price. I didn't. It was a Deal of the Day for forty bucks. But this thing but it's still worth getting if you're a fan & it's a decent display piece even if you don't plug it in. A couple of complaints: 1) I do not understand why they couldn't locate the power port at the back toward the bottom. A clear design flaw in my opinion. So get used to a micro USB cable sticking out of the side of your Death Star projector. 2) I knew this going in because of reading reviews before buying but they shouldn't call this a projector. Certainly the description gives the impression that you'll see a clear constellation of stars across your ceiling. You will not. You will see a blurry mess of light. You may think me generous giving this item 4 stars but it's a Death Star y'all. Still cool just to have on the shelf!

This small device packs a lot of punch. Shaped like the death star, powered by USB, this little guy projects the Stars of the sky onto your wall or ceiling (depending on where you aim it). With a button press it rotates the Stars, turn the lens to focus for rooms of varying height/distance from the unit. Also included a slide to change to the Stars of the "star wars "Galaxy.

Got it for the kids after doing a Star Wars marathon with them. Surprised them with it and they loved it. Def not worth the full price but if you find it on sale then a decent buy. Could be brighter, the reg northern hemisphere star disc is really dull. The Star Wars discs are really cool. One of a battle scene and another of the Star Wars galaxy. Focus the projector with a small ring around the lens. Has a built in timer as well as auto shutoff. Will also rotate the disc if desired.

The display wasn’t as bright and the constellations weren’t as vivid and easy to identify for a child.

The size was lot smaller than I expected, but I was pretty impressed with the solid design and construction of the unit. I love having it on my desk! Picture quality is decent too, I just wish it came with more discs, or that you could order more.

I bought this so I could explore the galaxy with my family and a plus is that it has the star wars Galaxy and a battle. It's really bright and really detailed I used it in my two story house and projects all the way to the ceiling.

ok at first it was not what I thought, comes with only 3 slides of images, it is bright and can get big that's good. I got a super good deal on it and only paid 40, but for the regular retail price no way. it does have a decent size to it sitting on your table or shelf, across my daughters room it covers the whole wall with the image. one cool thing it does rotate the image slowly so when looking at stars it is like your looking in the night sky as earth turns.

If you are Star Wars fan this an item that is worth if it goes on sale. The projection is actually pretty clear. It's nice to put in a middle of the room with a flat ceiling. It does come with a USB cord, but you need an adapter to connect to a wall.

Only 3 different slides to place in it. Needs more options but overall was fun toy nightlight for kids when on sale for $25-$30. not worth more than this.

Bought it for our autistic son to help him relax and be able to go to sleep at night. He loved it and would not lay down unless it was on. Then the light stopped working and would not project. There is no way to open it to replace the light bulb. Warranty ran out, so now we would have to spend another $180 to purchase a new one. Not gonna happen, for that kind of money bulb should be replaceable or carry an extended-extended warranty. Bedtime is not the same without this.

It's nice but a little pricey for only 3 slides maybe if I could find others it would be better, also watch sales prices I got it for under 40 after tax.
