It is Star Wars!!! Truly amazing what they could get in special effects even 20 years ago!!!! Truly worth upgrading your dvd or Blu-ray to 4k. At least finally the 4K finally comes with a digital copy!!

Jar Jar doesn't really hold up in full 4k. The CGI hasn't aged well in my opinion but it's an interesting example of the times. However the rest of the movie looks great and it's still a fun romp through the Star Wars universe.

Most of us have already seen this movie in other formats like VHS, DVD or Blu-Ray, so either you like the movie or don't. So I'm just commenting on the image quality vs the other formats. The Blu-Ray was already a considerable jump in quality from DVD, and this is also a jump, although not nearly the jump from DVD to Blu-Ray. Still, it's a noticable step up from Blu-Ray and well worth the money to update your collection to the best this movie has ever looked.

Not the best Star Wars film but it still has some great moments and Darth Maul. Just happy to get all the Star Wars films in 4K. Has most of the extras and features we've seen before.

Not the best Star Wars movie but watching it in 4K and with the remastered sound makes it great. Decent special features too which is lacking in a lot of releases today

While this might not be my favorite Star Wars movie I wanted to see if 4k would make a difference. It does. I enjoyed it more than when we saw this at the theater because the sound and picture are just amazing when you see it in 4k. :)

Bought this solely for testing the 10m pod race. The screaming, whizzing, thumping, and panning left to right in ATMOS high bit rate sounds so much better and cleaner than on Disney plus. Running this on a Klipsch 5.2.2 setup (2) R820F + (1) RP504 + (4) R51m + (2) "12 JBL GT subs = WONDERFUL DELIGHT TO MY EARS and LOVE FOR RACING!

I loved episode 1 and think it looks awesome in 4k, with great sound that rumbles during the pod racer sequences

You can't go wrong with 4K. I love the race scenes. Dolby Atmos at it's best!

This movie doesn't get much love from the Star Wars fandom but although it has flaws it also has some great moments and spectacular setpieces. Liam Nieson is phenomenal as Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jin! The pod race is amazing CGI especially for 1999. It still holds up well today! And the ending battle of Darth Maul vs Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan is one of the best lightsaber fights in the franchise! The movie looks great in 4K.
