I bought this lightsaber to go with my Emperor Palpatine costume for Halloween 2021. It's pricy, but it qualified for a "30% off one toy" discount, and I had some rewards saved up, so I saved a bit of money on it. It has a few different light and sound functions, all accessible via two buttons. The hilt itself is metal and feels very solid in hand. And it made a wonderful glow stick while trick or treating so the kids could keep track of the grown ups in the dark. If you're a fan of the Emperor, or just cool lightsabers, this is the one for you.

Absolutely gorgeous. Feels perfect in the hand, weight is out of this world. Sounds and lights are on par with the Revan Saber.

This is a nice saber. I'm glad Hasbro went back to removable blade sabers. The hilt is excellent but could be a bit more secure when inserted. Nice sound a light effects. It's a great value especially on sale.

I bought this as a gift for my grandson, he is a collector. He loves the Lightsaber, it is made really well, LED functions are awesome! Really superior quality!

This lightsaber is heavy well made and is just amazing! The lightning effect and melting effect in the blade is very cool

This saber has nice effects that set it apart from typical Black Series sabers. Has a good weight and finish.

I got this lightsaber because it was on sale at GameStop and the best buy was able to price match it. The sound effects and the craftsmanship of this lightsaber was excellent. Happy to add this in Star Wars collection.

Great collector piece. The hilt is a nice recreation and solidly built. The functions on the saber are fun and realistic sounding. A definite must have for Star Wars fans and collectors.

Happy to finally have this saber in my collection. The Black Series Elite are the highest quality mainstream saber out there. Love to get the discount as well!

Great replica good lighting and sound. Makes action sound when swung around. Not recommended to duel as it could break the saber

Just added these to my light saber collection. they are pricey but in the end if your a collector it is worth it. Love the metal feel make it so realistic.

This is a great looking lightsaber and feels quite heavy ,but like most of this series the volume is very low for the sound effects. Still a worthy buy.

Love my Emperor Palpatine Black Series Lightsaber! The chrome finish on the hilt is beautiful! I also love that the blade has several features like a blaster deflector and wall drag. The funnest part is the lightening! Definitely needed for any Star Wars collectors.

I couldn't find this anywhere but Best Buy and I'm glad I did. Its a must have for any collector and Sith follower!

This thing is really cool. Aside from the normal "saber blade" functionality it includes a force lightening effect and a "cutting" effect. The handle looks and feels nice and I love that the blade is removable. I do wish the price was a little lower. It seems high considering what they used to go for.

If you love Star Wars I highly recommend getting this item really useful for display
