Amazing product. Way better than the Disney parks quality but more pricey. I would still recommend this over the latter. Great build quality, blade brightness and comes with a rechargeable battery.

It feels like this product is made out of some really good quality material, I just wish the blade was not as fancy as it is but it still is an amazing collectible item

I couldn't wait to get this Darksaber and then I got it. Very dissapointed in the blade color. It was Blue (Teal) not Bright White as advertised. I emailed Hasbro back and forth for about a week about this issue and according to them if they sent me replacement it would be blue as well. I did ask how all the ads, videos, photos and even on the box it is sold as having a " Bright White Blade" Hasbros response was " Were sorry for the inconvenience, Here is a return shipping label" I could not get them to agree that it was supposed to be white. So I returned it to Best Buy for a refund. I have a few other Force FX Elite Lightsabers by Hasbro and none of them are discolored or a different colr than advertised. Just to be clear, this is not a Best Buy issue its a manufacturing issue. The hilt is a good heavy metal just like the rest of them. Sound was good. The effects were good, just the wrong color. The blade is a little flimsy compared to the round ones. Being flat is the reason for that. And the LEDs inside are easily distinguished as compared to all my others. You cant even see where the LEDs are on my other sabers. Hasbro should have done better. It saddens me.

I love my new saber, i don’t plan on swinging it just decorative. Love the lights!

I love this thing. I have a lot of the older ForceFX line of sabers but this one feels different and better. The blade is a pain to install and remove (it takes an Allen Wrench, which is included) and it takes a bit to both put on and take off. It's not a deal-breaker, though. I just display it with the blade on (though display with the blade removed is just a nice looking) so that I can grab it and swing it around for a bit. I wish the speaker would have been put in some place other than the hilt itself so that when you're using it your hand will cover it, muffling the sound some. The rechargeable battery takes a minute to get to and find the USB port on (it's the older trapezoid type, not USB-C, which is still fine, and the box comes with its own small cord for recharging...no wall plug included, so you have to figure that one out yourself) but it's not impossible by any means. Just be sure to familiarize yourself with the different parts and pieces, as this one is a little more complicated than the old ForceFX line. Not much more, but just a touch. Take some familiarization time on it. It'll be worth it. If possible, wait for a sale. Got this with a Deal of the Day for about $95 off.

Any Star Wars fan wants to one day wield a lightsaber, let alone the Darksaber. The first time I held this in my hand and ignited it, man do I feel like a kid again. It looks so realistic and the metal hilt makes it feel heavier and makes you feel like you actually have a lightsaber (in this case, Darksaber) in your hand. This was my first Black Series lightsaber, and I have since collected a couple more since the purchase of this (Obi-Wan, Vader, Luke). The only downside to this is that the blade is a little wobbly. Yes, mine is securely attached, but the blade for the Darksaber is more like a sword - thin, unlike other lightsabers which are cylindrical and a bit more sturdy. I don't recommend them for swordplay so much, but they make for incredible display pieces, cosplay accessories, or if you want to use it for swordplay, then simply to just make you feel even more like a kid while doing so! Be ready to duel your delivery person upon delivery, because for those who know, this sword can only be won in combat.

My favorite lightsaber from the saga, hands down! Looks great, feels heavy and real, beautiful on my shelf or on my hip!

Some blade wobble but overall still best mass produced dark saber available. Light is bright and sound fonts fairly responsive to swings. Is definitely a nice show piece.

Pretty solid build... a little concerned that the rechargeable battery is not replaceable and therefore down the line you eventually have an expensive replica that will not work as intended. You need to be a diehard to get this and be satisfied - I feel a more passive fan may be disappointed, although a different version available at the Disney parks have received worse reviews. The look and feel is pretty good - would have liked some better lighting effects on it. Took me two years past the original ship date to finally receive this after repeated shipping delays.

This is amazing! Me an my wife dressed up as Star Wars characters and this was to go with my mandalorian outfit! Was perfect everyone we met loved it

I never owned any light saber before but I love Star Wars and the new shows on Disney and decided to this. I got it on sale but even at full price I have to say this would not be disappointing to own. I feel like it’s great quality. If light saber were real this is what I would imagine one feels like in my hand. It’s pretty awesome looking in person. I bought it for display and Halloween costumes. Exceeding expectations.

Absolutely gorgeous saber. The lighting and sounds are great. Only issue I have is the speaker placement but that’s a minor concern.

Love this bad boy! So many features and it can detach for display. It sounds so real! I feel like mando using this with my Mandolorian outfit! It sounds better than my other light sabers. It feels dense and that heavy so it feels real!

great to add to collection of sabers. blade is flimsy & hilt is heavy. recharging battery could be better. stand is minimal. would've been great to display with light on. nice to include sound effects.

Star Wars - The Black Series Mandalorian Darksaber Force FX Elite Lightsaber cool saber much better than the disney parks edition.

Very well built, feels sturdy. Only issue is the way you need to take the battery out to recharge. Needs a hex key to unscrew to take it out.
