These star wars movies look great in blu-ray, great price.

The movies are amazing. There is nothing bad to say about them in my opinion. This complete saga is definitely worth the buy. The price is cheaper than buy each one individually, so I would recommend purchasing this one if you wanted to get all original 6 episodes. (Well, original 3 episodes and then the 3 prequels, lol). If you are interested in seeing the Star Wars saga, I would get this instead of one by one. I might recommend watching the first movie before you buy this though if it is your first time. If you like the first movie, which is Episode 4, you will most likely like the rest. Episodes 4,5, and 6 were released first and are very old so the graphics are up to today's standards so don't be shocked. Episodes 1,2, and 3 came out later in 1999-2000s so the graphics are better.

It's everything I wanted and more great special features

My wife and I are HUGE Star Wars geeks. We devour Episodes 4-6 but only nibble on Episodes 1-3 (3 being the best of them). This collection is the ultimate Star Wars movie set. The sound and picture quality are top notch. They retain the glory of the earlier years (4-6) and make the later years (1-3) actually more palatable. Our only complaint is not with this collection (which is a 5 star set), but with the additional remastering of 4-6. The "extra" creatures and people are distracting and diminish the storytelling. And...don't get us started on the Han-Greedo bar scene! Either way, go and buy it. But don't throw away your VHS set from the 80's. You will occasionally want to re-live "the way it used to be."

This is now the quintessential collection of Lucas' original and prequel released. The transfer is gorgeous, tons of extras yet I still feel a wanting for more.
