I wasn't really a Star Wars fan but I really enjoyed it with my kids great for movie night

I love everything Star Wars , this reincarnation of a new hope was obvious and I have no problem with it. Watched it about 5 times now!

The movies are great. What I'm reviewing is the package. First off I bought this at Best Buy but, on the way home I noticed it had s Walmart sticker. It didn't bother me much but since It was a VERY expensive movie, when I opened it I was very upset that the case that holds the bluray were broken off. So in short great movie, awful packaging.

I'll skip reviewing the film itself since that has been done a lot and people have their own opinions. I upgraded from the Blu-ray version to the 4K version (they did not release it in 4K originally) and am very pleased with the improvement in picture quality! Well worth the price of the upgrade (especially given BB's sale price). Unlike the original and prequel trilogies, 4K makes a nice, noticeable difference in The Force Awakens. Now to buy a new receiver and some ceiling speakers so I can have Dolby Atmos!

Im glad this package came with, both, a blue ray disc and a 4K Ultra HD disc. One of my favorite Star Wars films.

Alright let me tell you why you should buy this even though the move isn’t the best First off the Star Wars community hates this movie but not as much as the last Jedi but to be honest I loved it alright let me start this steelbook discussion off by saying they did so good on this but downgraded on the last Jedi steelbook I love the fact that there’s a lightsaber in holographic form it reminds me of when a dead Jedi shows up as a ghost and looks like Luke Skywalkers Hans even though I believe it’s Rey’s but yeah this steelbook is cool because it has lots of designs not one and two but more!!! This steelbook gives you the vibes of the old movies pls buy this

The 4k quality is there. Super sharp and there is a noticeable difference in the digital copy and the physical disc as far as quality is concerned. It does have Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos function on the physical disc. Some are reporting no Dolby Vision but my copy includes it. The quality is a much better than the first 6 episodes of Star Wars 4K UHD

I had this on blu ray before, but recently all the Star Wars movies have been upgraded to 4K. The Force Awakens is so much better in 4K. The Picture is stunning. The colors and details really stand out. The classic Star Wars music by John Williams sounds just perfect. Some people like The Force Awakens and others don't like it. I love it and I am glad to have it on 4K.

Watching from this from the 4K UHD Blu-ray is much better than streaming. The bit rate is better than you'll get via the internet. That means you'll see even better quality and detail in the picture. If you're a fan of Star Wars, this is a must buy. (Plus buying the movies separately is cheaper than the box set!)
