If you like Star Wars and have a 3d tv you need to get this set. My husband and I love Stars Wars and seeing this in 3D is more awesome than watching in regular tv.

Whenever a new film appears in a series that is "iconic," it causes a stir among the fans and critics alike. Star Wars, as a continuing story, causes perhaps the biggest stir, and the fact that J.J. Abrams was at the helm this time made that stir into a high-speed blender. His reboot of the Star Trek universe caused equal amounts of praise and consternation in "those who care," and his touch on Star Wars is also predictably controversial. ****However, I'm here to say that Star Wars: The Force Awakens works, and it works mainly because of Abrams' great care to make Episode 7 after the model of the original Star Wars (A New Hope) rather than any of the prequels. From where I sit, The Force Awakens IS Star Wars in the way we boomers remember it. It has spaceship battles, light-saber battles, psychological battles, the classic series humor, and--perhaps key--it has Han Solo, Chewbacca and the Millennium Falcon. It walks and talks like Star Wars, and so it is! *As for the releases on DVD and Blu-Ray, I was pretty irritated at the choice to only include the full "extras" package on Blu-Ray and just "toss in" the DVD as an afterthought. I don't have a Blu-Ray player, I am not alone in this predicament, and I think it was premature to assume that Blu-Ray is ow the primary medium for playing hard-copy discs. Having said that, I bought the Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital combo package, since it was only $2 more than the solo DVD, and I can access all the special features in the digital version. And the DVD of the film itself looks and sounds very good. So all in all, I'm satisfied with the purchase, and--what the heck--I've got the Blu-Ray edition for the inevitable day when I break down and get the BR player. So go for it folks, and give JJ Abrams the credit for bringing back Star Wars with all the elements we liked about the original

Bought this on sale during May 4. Definitely worth it.

Not all Star Wars have been good but everything about this movie the story, acting, special effects is all 1st class one of the very best in the Star Wars Collection.

Of course, I saw it shortly after it was released. I own all of the Star Wars saga's movies. Follows the original plot, fills in some things and expands others....

The Force Awakens was a good DVD purchase. I have watched the movie several times over the past year and it still holds up very well. Great sound and picture quality.

Awesome movie just adding to the collection a must

I wanted a 3D version of any Star Wars episodes. So when I see almost anything 3D I grab it while I can. Hopefully, Best Buys will continue to stock 3D videos.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It is not quite my favorite (that honor falls to Revenge of the Sith and The Empire Strikes Back), it may well be my third favorite SW movie. The movie returns to a sense of fun and adventure that I realized was missing from the prequel trilogy. Although I'm not a fan of anything anymore, I recognize that there are things in this movie that resonate with SW (and sci-fi) fans in general. The return to standard film stock, and practical models was a big selling point for this film, and it looks every bit as good,as if not better, than) the prequels. There were elements in this film that made it look atypical from a traditional Star Wars film, and I loved it. (I am especially stoked for the upcoming "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" which has a very gritty visual appeal.) I loved seeing the TIE Fighters coming in from out of the sun. Certain things about the lightsaber fighting were a bit off-putting, but not enough to detract from my overall enjoyment of this picture. There's a good, emotional story for Han and Leia as well, even though they are largely secondary characters. And I really liked the new characters.... especially Poe and Finn. And BB-8 completely won me over. (When I first saw BB-8 in a teaser trailer, I was completely turned off.... but the little guy is truly a winsome character. I can see R2D2 being his automaton mentor, in a way....kinda trying to reign in BB-8's youthful enthusiasm that once got R2 into trouble on more than one occasion.) If you've missed Star Wars as it should've been since 1977-1980, this movie is for you. It's also a great shoe-in for a new generation of filmgoers and fans (fans-to-be).

Set thirty years after Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens follows Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, and Han Solo's search for Luke Skywalker and their fight in the Resistance, led by General Leia Organa and veterans of the Rebel Alliance, against Kylo Ren and the First Order, a successor to the Galactic Empire.

Awesome movie with a great story line, great drama and action

Good movie for the family movie not best one out of the new movies. Great for any star wars fan. Must have to add to your star wars collection.

So glad to finally get this on 4k bluray with digital copy.

When I bought this it was 18 bucks which was a decent price for a Disney 4K because back then they were always expensive except on Black Friday but I used a 10 bucks off BBY reward coupon and I got it for 8 bucks.

This was a great step in the Star Wars saga. I bought the next 2 but misplaced this one. If you are a Star Wars fan you will love the story plot.

It’s a Star Wars movie. You really can’t go wrong unless you’re one of those whiny crybaby fanboys who only like the original trilogy.

A must own 4K if your a star wars fan. Looks amazing
