Great movie!! Great add to my movie collection!!!!

This was definitely not my favorite Star Wars. I really had high hopes about this but I was just not a fan of the lack of character development. Id recommend it because it's Star Wars, not because it was particularly amazing.

Been a fan since the first Star Wars, and although this was visually fantastic, the story was not as good. Probably because of how two of the main characters had minimal screen time.

Liked this better than the rest of the trilogy. Overall made me dislike Star Wars.

Was a little disappointed in the overall movie. Expected more and was truly saddened by the ending. However, as movies go today, it was for me, just okay, not great, but ok.

I really looked forward to this film. I hate to report it was a real letdown. Like so many topics, opinions are largely divided on the merits of the film, or lack thereof.

Just watch Episode IV again. It is the same plot with slightly different characters. If this movie was put out by someone else, they would have been sued for plagiarism.

Just to say it seemed like they did not try hard to write this story. I just like star wars and went to see the movie and got the disc to complete my collection

Still lacking in many of the original feel of Star Wars. Ok popcorn movie but was expecting so much more. Nowhere near the hype

I mean, its Star Wars, so you have to watch it. But its basically Episode 1 all over again. Kind of disappointed.

This film was too predictable and as a result disappointing. I'm not sure what was going through the minds of those behind this script and production, they could have done without some of the newly introduced characters. Al in all I'm glad I waited for this film to come out on disc, I only wished I had rented instead of purchasing it.

It was ok; but i didn't connect the why of things. Perhaps I need to see it again.

Why can't a solid Star Wars movie be made at this point? You'd think that someone could just a make a great movie built off of the storielunes that already exist from the video games or animated series. Most of the new characters were ok (not great) but the storyline was rediculous.

I saw this movie in theaters hoping it was all it was cracked up to be and I must say I was monumentally disappointed. For being a new chapter in one of the greatest movie franchises in motion picture history this movie sucks. The new characters, Rey and Fin are bland and show no personality. Fin is made to look like an inept and incompetent person who couldn't carry Hans Solo's jock strap. Rey is supposed to be the new found hope of the Jedi. Yet the actors cast to play each character look out of place. The fight seen between kylo ren and Hans Solo looked really bogus and I spent the entire movie waiting to see if Luke Skywalker would do something significant other than make a 3 second appearance at the end of the movie. Disney and Lucasfilms really dropped the ball on this one.

it's a star wars movie. If a fan I would recommend it.

I saw this in IMAX 3D at the theater and was hoping that what sometimes occurs I would enjoy it more in the comfort of my home on my 4k TV...didn't happen. There is a serious lack of that Star Wars feel that was present in the first six. Now do not get me wrong I greatly enjoyed Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi...they remain the best in the series. Wasn't a fan of the Phantom Menace et cetera but they at least had that Star Wars feel to them. I have higher hops for Rogue One and future releases.
