I believe this is a great version to have and own, but I can't speak to the 3D aspect of it, as we don't currently own a 3D TV.

This movie successfully brings together everything that's made star wars great and adds new elements to make the future look bright!!

This is the next generation Star War movie. Also with the flexible DVD and Digital Copy, my family has more options to watch anytime.
