    The first half was 5 stars. The new characters were fresh and the acting good. Ford was great. Chewbaca was a welcome return. It was nice to have some humor back. The second half was 3 1/2 stars.

    Star Wars continues to be a great franchise with better and better visual excitement. Great characters and an immersive experience on the big screen with the right surround sound system. Good stuff.

    Jj Abrams does his usual work on a classic series, I did however find it a little lacking on new story development and more than just scratching the surface. Something George Lucas has done so well.
