Good movie. It's ending sets stage for next movie.

Is a must-have if you are a star war fan!!!!!!!!!!

This star wars movie felt like a rehashed version of new hope but done better. Obviously the CGI/ animatronics is better than what was done in the 70's. The acting better than the original but the story line felt like the first star wars movie, new hope.

Less a continuation of the story, more of a reboot: the Abrams special. Still, enjoyable if too familiar. Excellent audio/video and a solid supplemental package. Stinks that Disney held off on releasing the 3D disc and commentary for the double dip.

I'm in the minority on this I know, but I found this movie average at best. I'm not sure I'd chose it over any of the previous 6 movies. The only thing it has going for it is that it's the first step necessary to begin expanding the Star Wars universe.

I was really excited for this movie to come out however I felt the story line could have been a bit better. The filming, acting and special effects are amazing however the storyline feels too reminiscent of the originals. Hope the next one is better!

The package contains the movie on a DVD and on a blue-ray DVD. There is an additional disk of extras. The special effects are spectacular. The story is OK, but it didn't grab my attention. Original characters appear and they have become old.

Was ok of a movie. Liked seeing the older stars in the movie but biggest issue I had was the villain taking off his mask. Ruined that part for me since it was better leaving to the imagination that the evil person was more evil looking than he was.

(SPOILER ALERT) We were hoping for a brand new story, but this is pretty much a retold version of "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope". Still, it had a lot of fun elements and so I still wanted to add it to my collection and watch it over and over.

Back to the feel of the original trilogy.... however maybe a little too much! It basically tells the New Hope story complete with a new "Death Star" to destroy. Still entertaining and hopefully a good setup for the future movies.

This edition does have bonus features and it's in a steel case. I bought it for my brother as a christmas gift. I liked the price at the time and should've bought one for myself but the force awakens is not my favorite star wars film.

Princess Leia's face isn't animated correctly. With only 2 minutes of screen time, Mark Hamill goes over the top with his acting. Seriously, the whole movie is about making fun of the franchise, but I'll keep watching, ne'er you mind that.

Good visual effects. Sometimes the voices sounded muffles and were difficult to understand. One of our favorite sci fi series, was disappointed that the plot was SOOOO similar to A New Hope, and the their tech looked 30 years old.

Great movie and the steel case is awesome. Yet, disappointed it wasn't available in Ultra HD Bluray Format. Standard 1080p image quality is subpar to Ultra HD. Hoping for a 4K release in near future, my recommendation is to wait for it.

The film it is far from disappointing and for the younger audience this is a new story. The new characters are great. I just hope that the following films can find some emotion and spirit that is somewhat lacking in the Force Awakens.

This movie a lot of fun but it suffers from many story logic issues, not to mention the fact that the movie is pretty much an unnecessary remake of the original Star Wars with bits of Empire and Jedi thrown in for good measure.

I am a HUGE fan of the original triliogy. This movie is good. But it's not great. It felt like they tried too hard to make it a New Hope II. This a film that every TRUE fan, must have...But not because this was a breakthrough film.
